First things first, it's a little overdue but I have been wanting to say, "Congratulations, America wins!" (Makes for a great headline, eh?)America Ferrera, the 23-year-old lead actress who sets the tone for the ABC show Ugly Betty, went off and won herself an Emmy. Not that all the other prizes, most notably a second season, aren't gifts enough, but good for her. She does a nice job and better than that, after visiting the set twice, I can tell you that people without provocation sing her praises. I didn't get to meet her, unfortunately, because "of the demands on her schedule," but that's what people say. (But don't worry, you'll see a lot of America when you tune in to inFANity. I just didn't talk to her. I'm past it now.)I did, however, get to meet the others, many who are terribly underrated. Take, for example, Michael Urie, who plays Marc with a C. Sure his character is flamboyant and, you might say, expected. Next time you watch, though, pay attention to the details. The thea...

Are Betty and Henry ever going to get together? Have faith! "It all comes to a head by the finale [May 17]," says Christopher Gorham, who plays Henry. "By the end, there will be some resolution between Henry and [girlfriend] Charlie and a new complication with the love triangle. Henry really steps up for Betty — and pays the price. The thing is," he adds, "Henry and Betty needed to break up. By taking herself out of the picture, Betty made him realize how great she is. They are going to move toward being together."
Hope this isn't rude, but we really want to know: Is Betty still a virgin?"Uh… no," says the show's executive producer Silvio Horta. The only guy she's ever been with is Walter, a fact alluded to in the episode called "The Lyin', the Watch and the Wardrobe."

Extras, Extras, Read All About It!So, its official, according to Ricky Gervais, it is unlikely that Season 2 of the fantastic British comedy Extras will be followed by a corresponding Season 3. Boo-hoo is all I have to say. And as I watched the opening sequence of this weeks episode, I felt the telling was in the tale. As Andy sits in Jonathon Ross hot seat, a foreshadowing of things to come sets the tone. (Jonathan Ross known to everyone as Wossy is the host of a very popular British talk show that I only saw once when Jim Carrey was on, and it was ludicrous. Jim Carrey is a ridiculous amount of fun, and Jonathan was a good sport as well.) One can only assume that Ricky has set his sights on other options. Jonathan asks Andy if it will be more of the same or will he branch out. Andy replies hed like to do some serious acting with the greatest actor in the world, Robert De Niro. Little did I know that Mr. De N...

If I were as clever as the writers on Extras, I would, well I guess we know what I wouldnt be doing. But, I might make a witty remark about the absurd hilarity of Ricky Gervais humor. Suffice it to say, this ep was perhaps the cleverest of the bunch. You all know how I feel about Stephen Merchant, and he only made me love him more here. His ability to make everyone completely uncomfortable with no actual knowledge that hes doing it is the crux for some of the most hilarious moments of the series. I laughed so loudly my neighbor stopped by to make sure I wasnt being murdered. And I was this show slayed me. Theres no good place to start since the entire episode was pure genius. We were graced by Sir Ian McKellans presence and we got to see Germaine Greer, one of the most important feminists ever. This is the show in which Andy seeks to gain some respect by getting theater work. His foray into theater proves hysterical as he finds he is meant ...
