The Bachelorette is back! It feels like it was just yesterday that we watched Ashley and J.P. find love and now it's time to join Emily as she searches for her happy ending. Will her season end in another proposal for her? Time to find out.
We re-meet Emily and hear her story about getting engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, who died a few months later in a plane crash. Shortly after his death, Emily found out she was pregnant and is now raising her 6-year-old daughter Ricki. Although Emily's engagement to previous Bachelor Brad Womack ended, she still believes in the process and hopes to find love again.
The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard
Get ready for a very different season of The Bachelorette.
When viewers last saw Emily Maynard, the North Carolina native who lost her first love in a plane crash was tearfully telling Chris Harrison that she and Bachelor Brad Womack had ended their engagement. Now a year later, the 26-year-old has returned for another shot at finding love on The Bachelorette.

The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard, Ashley Hebert and Ali Fedotowsky
Welcome to Bachelorette Boot Camp! On a recent afternoon in Los Angeles, newly minted professional dater Emily Maynard — the previous recipient of Brad Womack's final rose will return as the star of the matchmaking show this spring — got a crash course from show alums Ali Fedotowsky (Season 6) and Ashley Hebert (Season 7) on what's ahead. TV Guide Magazine sat in on the single mom's tutorial.
It's fantasy date week on The Bachelor, which means lots of "love," lots of hot tubs and lots of alone-time for Ben and his ladies.
First, Ben flies to Switzerland, where he reflects on his time with the remaining women: Nicki, the dark horse, laid-back Lindzi and Courtney, the trash-talking model. As Ben ponders the final two weeks, he concludes that he's ready to take the next step in life.
Nicki has the first fantasy date with Ben in Interlaken. A helicopter picks them up and whisks them away over the Alps. After a breathtaking ride, they arrive on a mountaintop to have a picnic.
The Bachelor, Ben and Courtney
Chris Harrison is well aware that the majority of Bachelor viewers are outraged at both Ben Flajnik and front-runner Courtney.
"You never know how America is going to react, and even during filming, I wouldn't have predicted they'd feel this way," Harrison tells TVGuide.com. "People say, 'Why haven't you warned him about her?' But he hears what she's saying and plenty of the women tried to caution him."
Revenge is a dish best served with a nice Pinot Noir. Last season on The Bachelorette, winemaker Ben Flajnik was blindsided when he was dumped on national TV after dropping down on one knee and proposing to dental student Ashley Hebert. Now he's back on ABC's reality dating franchise to dole out some long stems and heartache of his own. We met up with the 29-year-old San Francisco and Sonoma County resident at NYC's City Winery to clink glasses and swap stories about his days of wine and roses.

Flajnik: I've dated lots of women, but the majority of my relationships were under a year long. My sister thought maybe I'd be good for [The Bachelorette], so she did the...
