Here is the third clip for Synecdoche, New York. Theater director Caden Cotard is mounting a new play. Fresh off of a successful theatrical run in his hometown of Schenectady, New York, Caden decides to trade in the suburban spectators and local theater for the cultured audiences and bright footlights of Broadway. Awarded a Genius grant and determined to create a piece of brutal realism and honesty, something into which he can put his whole self, he gathers an ensemble cast into a warehouse in Manhattan s theater district. He directs them in a celebration of the mundane, instructing each to live out their constructed lives in a small mockup of the city outside. As the city inside the warehouse grows, Caden s own life veers wildly off the tracks. The shadow of his ex-wife Adele, a celebrated painter who left him years ago for Germany s art scene, sneers at him from every corner. Trailer for House of the Flesh Mannequins, which screened at the 2009 Santa Fe Film Festival. A nostalgic homage that winks at the classic films from the 70 s. The cinematography of Mirco Sgarzi recalls with personality the atmospheres of the best Fulci and Argento s movie. This is cinema by one who loves cinema, a movie rich of winks and citations that the most expert (and not) will be amused to pick: from Lynch surrealism of the 30 s, passing through Fulci and Cronemberg. International porn stars and regular actors working together for the first time with extreme body art used in torture scenes. Everything is real, but at the same time, everything is done for the purpose of creating a movie, which is anything but real. The movie presents a compelling case against the use of gratuitous violence, on TV, as well as, the self-righteous, sanctimonious ways that society chooses to confront children s issues.

In the days following Gary Busey;s now legendary performance art displays before and after last weekend;s Academy Awards, a growing number of people in the media and online have voiced their concerns over the propriety of his behavior. As you will remember, during the E! pre-show red carpet telecast, Busey accosted Laura Linney and Jennifer Garner (to whom he may have said something about neck-biting or blood-drinking or whatever), then continued to rant and rave the Gospel of Gary into a stunned Ryan Seacrest;s microphone (though he later offered a rambling and somewhat terrifying apology), before finally wandering off in hopes of finding Philip Seymour Hoffman and devouring his flesh. And now we find the video above, in which Busey is confronted with an 11 year-old teen reporter named Grace who wants to ask him about troubled starlets for her celebrity website StarzLife.com. Busey repeatedly claims to not understand what she;s talking about, then in a rare moment of clarity calls
