Sami picks up EJ from the hospital and is taking him home, but runs into Roman along the way. She tells him that she's moving in with EJ. Roman thinks it's a terrible idea. He asks her about Rafe, but Sami explains she's not sure when Rafe is coming back. EJ assures Roman Sami will be fine, but Roman isn't sold on the idea. Meanwhile, Kate overhears Stefano talk about Anna, but she doesn't pursue. Later, Sami and EJ arrive and Stefano welcomes them home. Sami and Kate have some words about Will, and Stefano assures EJ that Anna is tucked away. She won't cost him anything with Sami. After a fight with Kate, Sami tells EJ she can't live here. It's a terrible idea. Anna is living the high albeit boring life in South America when she runs into Calliope Jones Bradford. Anna is shocked and even more so when it appears Calliope knows nothing about her taking Sydney. Calliope and Eugene are having tax troubles and are evading the IRS. She wonders if Anna's in trouble too. Anna says she's sort of trying to figure out her next step, whatever that may be. Calliope wants to hang out, but Anna is reluctant and Calliope leaves. Later, a guilty Calliope meets with Rafe. She's made contact. Victor and Vivian dote on Brady and Victor vows to get to the bottom of his attack. Arianna shows up still feeling guilty that she wasn't with Brady. Later, Nicole and Brady bond. Alone, Nicole expresses her hatred for Arianna and Vivian overhears. Vivian warns Arianna to be careful of Nicole. She's definitely competition. Meanwhile, Nicole learns about an illegal gambling ring and wants to check it out for a story. Hope wakes up rested, but is thrown to find her make-up out. She talks to Ciara about it, who thinks her mommy left it out. Hope has a heart to heart with her daughter and tells her that if she wants to use her make-up she is more than happy to have a dress up night with her daughter. Hope receives a call from Roman about Brady. She goes to the station and finds Victor. He thinks Hope's the wrong person for the case because of her responsibilities for Ciara, but Hope disagrees. Roman shows her the symbol that was placed on Brady and Hope knows what it is. Hope asks Brady if a woman attacked him because she believes it was. watch
After confronting Calliope about the wire, Anna tries to make a break for it, but Rafe stops her. Calliope and Anna share an emotional farewell. Rafe tries a variety of tactics to break Anna, demanding to know the identity of her accomplice. Meanwhile, an unhappy Stefano learns that Anna has missed her scheduled check-in? Sami and EJ grow closer, and a semi-intimate moment is interrupted by Stefano. Sami goes to the Java Café, where she fights with Will. Later, she crosses with Brady. When she admits her vulnerability, he asks whether she still has feelings for EJ. Nicole makes arrangements with Baker to set her plan for framing Arianna in motion. Later, Nicole and Brady have a heated moment, which unnerves Brady. At the Brady pub, Arianna catches Nicole trying to steal her wine glass and wonders what she's up to. Chad realizes Madeline is eager to get him out of Salem and wants to know why. Will talks to Kate about the photo of her and Madeline. Later, Kate and Madeline have it out, and it's revealed that Madeline was once a call girl, too. watch
Johnny receives an FBI jacket from Rafe. EJ realizes he can never be a hero to his kids. After an unsatisfactory conversation with Rafe, who's distracted by Anna and Calliope, Sami assures EJ he is their father and no one can take his place in their hearts. EJ is moved and he and Sami are closer than ever. Meanwhile, Rafe convinces hesitant Calliope to return to Anna, and find out who her accomplice is. Anna suggests to Calliope they travel together and she will pay off Calliope's IRS debt. Guilt-stricken, Calliope starts to unravel and Anna, becoming aware that something's amidst, yanks out Calliope's wire. Philip and Victor reach a rapprochement. Vivian, jealous of Victor's friendship with Maggie, moves up the wedding date. Melanie confides to Maggie that she doesn't think Chloe is the right person for her dad. Chloe confesses to Daniel that she hates Carly for giving him a child. She fears she's losing her mind, and wonders if somehow, she's made up all this nonsense about Carly and Daniel sleeping together. Daniel blames himself and Chloe is unable to tell him she slept with Philip. After learning Chad is going to Wake Forest in the fall, Mia decides she might drop out of school and go to New York to study dancing. Chad, learning she regrets her treatment of him, tells Madeline he's having second thoughts about going away to college, and wants to stay in Salem. watch
