Sami believes Grace's fever is innocuous and caused by teething. She is at last on her way to the church to stop the wedding when Melanie comes into the pub with injured Brady. Melanie is putting her student nurse skills to practice on Brady at the hospital. She's feeling guilty over Brady's injuries, but he assures her she's not to blame. Nicole weathers a series of interruptions to her long-awaited wedding day. Before Mia can make any real waves, Dr. Baker drags her out of the church. Stefano and EJ each take the opportunity to pontificate, further putting the bride on edge. Nicole and EJ exchange vows and are almost home free when Sami finally makes it to the church with Grace just as Father Matt is about to pronounce the couple man and wife. At the hotel, Philip and Stephanie bask in the afterglow of making love, unaware that Masi, a DiMera hit man, is preparing to make his move at Stefano and EJ's behest.
