Frasier conforms to the current 'men's movement' craze when he suggests Sam, Norm and Cliff join him on a road trip to discover their 'inner hairy man,' the primal beast that supposedly lurks within all males. Sam is intrigued since it reminds him of his teenage hitchhiking trip, but since Woody is out of town, he's reluctant to leave Cheers unattended. Luckily, Carla offers her cousin Frankie as a temporary replacement for Sam while he's away. The savage foursome sets forth for Route 66 in Cliffs 1974 space wagon, pondering deep emotional questions like; when they cried last, why people get sick while reading in cars, and, of course, who gets to drive next. But the trip goes awry when Sam accidentally drives into a ditch, leaving the group stranded in the desert. Lost so far out in the wilderness that even Frasier's cellular phone is no help, the group of he-men begin to panic, frightened by the sound of approaching wolves and the possibility that a stale Twinkie might be their last meal. Back at Cheers, Lilith and Rebecca are busy entertaining themselves by assigning the incredibly handsome, yet equally na ve, Frankie a variety of tasks to show off his magnificent body. Carla, however, is disgusted at their antics and counsels her innocent cousin to head for home before it's too late. watch
