Gypsy -- The life of stripper Gypsy Rose Lee tells the bittersweet story about an aggressive stage mother as she vows to her daughters (Natalie Wood and Ann Jillian) into the star that she never was.

Michael Keaton plays a husband and father who loses his job as an engineer at the auto manufacturing plant. After struggling to find another job, his wife lands a high paying position at an advertising agency. While she goes to the office each day, he stays home to take care of the house and the children. As she is climbing the ladder of success at work, he puts great effort into becoming a hopelessly inept househusband.

This musical version of the life of stripper Gypsy Rose Lee tells the bittersweet story about an aggressive stage mother and the effects of her devotion to her two young daughters (Natalie Wood, "West Side Story," and Ann Jillian, TV's "It's a Living"), as she vows to make each of them into the star that she never was. Great music and lyrics are provided by the team of Stephen Sondheim ("West Side Story," "Dick Tracy," "Sweet Charity") and Jule Styne ("Funny Girl").

Mary Contrary (Annette Funicello) and Tom Piper (Tommy Sands) are about to marry; but not if Barnaby (Ray Bolger) can help it! In a series of events that eventually leads the characters to Toyland, Mary, and Tom join the Toymaker (Ed Wynn) and his assistant (Tommy Kirk) in meeting Christmas' toy demand for Santa Claus.
