Days after he and Angelina Jolie gave $2 million dollars to build a HIV/AIDS-fighting clinic in Ethiopia, Brad Pitt is now donating $100,000 to fight a ban on gay marriage.According to Variety, Pitt gave the money to the Californians Against Eliminating Basic Rights group that is currently fighting Proposition 8, a California ballot initiative that would disallow same-sex marriage in the state. "Because no one has the right to deny another their life even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," Pitt said in a statement. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, on behalf of their Jolie-Pitt Foundation, have donated $2 million to create a children's health clinic in Ethiopia, People reports.To be run by the Global Health Committee, the center will focus on aiding HIV/AIDS- and tuberculosis-stricken children and will be named after their 3-year-old daughter Zahara, who was adopted from the country in 2005."It is our hope when Zahara is older she will take responsibility of the clinic and continue its mission," Pitt said in a statement.The charitable supercouple already has established a similar clinic in Cambodia, where son Maddox, 7, was born, called the Maddox Chivan Children's Center."Our goal is to transfer the success we have had in Cambodia to Ethiopia where people are needlessly dying of tuberculosis, a curable disease, and HIV/AIDS, a treatable disease," Jolie said in a statement. — Joyce EngRelive the Summer of Angelina in our Online Video Guide.

Following the birth of Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, Angelina Jolie's doctor spoke to the press about what went down in the delivery room and how mom, dad and the babies are doing. Per People, Dr. Michel Sussman joked that the during the delivery, Brad Pitt was almost like his assistant, never leaving Jolie's side. Sussman said the new dad was "perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional." As for the new mom, everything went smoothly, and she's expected to stay at the Fondation Lenval Hospital in Nice for a few more days.
