Andy Wachowski Fast Facts:

Attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, the same Chicago school as Barack Obama's wife, Michelle.
Along with brother Larry, worked on Marvel Comics' Ectokid series prior to achieving Hollywood success.
In addition to their own films, he and brother Larry have penned screenplays for the action flick Assassins (1995) and the sci-fi hit V for Vendetta (2005).
He and Larry made their feature directing debuts with the kinky crime thriller Bound (1996).
Proposed the Matrix trilogy to Warner Bros. with a 600-page comic book of the movies sketched out scene-by-scene by comic artists Geof Darrow and Steve Skroce.
Has had little contact with the media since he and Larry included a "no press" clause in each of their contracts following promotion of The Matrix (1999).
In 2004, cofounded, along with Larry, Burlyman Entertainment, which publishes graphic novels and comic books.
