Andrew Rannells Returns to Girls

Hannah's (Lena Dunham) gay ex-boyfriend and ex-roommate, Elijah (Andrew Rannells), ousted himself from the group at the end of Season 2, and now he's back, making his return to Girls on Sunday, Feb. 16 (10/9c, HBO). But he's not back in Brooklyn yet.

"We shot in the North Fork of Long Island," Rannells told TV Guide Magazine at the show's red carpet premiere earlier this year...read more

Question: What do you think the chance is for The Mindy Project to be renewed for a third season? I have been watching it since the beginning and think that the end of "The Desert" episode gave the show some good material and direction for the rest of the season. It has become so funny, and the chemistry between Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina is great. I would hate for this show to not get a chance to show what it can do. I'm not sure how long a show has to be on the air to be syndicated, but I think that would help the ratings, too. — Meg

Elijah (Andrew Rannells), Hannah's complicated roommate, will resurface with a new boyfriend in tow. Pal (ironic name alert!) is played by Buffy alum Danny Strong — who's also an Emmy winner for writing HBO's Sarah Palin movie Game Change  and he sounds like a handful. "I don't know if Hannah's a fan," Strong says. "I don't know if any of Elijah's friends are fans of Pal."

Top Videos: Impromptu "Bohemian Rhapsody" Singalong, Brian Williams Raps, NBA Stars Read Mean Tweets

This week, a stadium crowd in London engaged in an impromptu singalong to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" while waiting for Green Day to take the stage, and NBC News anchor Brian Williams rapped Warren G's "Regulate" (sort of). NBA stars read mean tweets about themselves on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and PBS Digital Studios put together a compilation of late children's author Maurice Sendak talking about childhood. Oh, and the Tony Awards happened too. Check out those clips and more in our weekly roundup of the best online videos:

The Tuesday Playlist: Justified, New Normal Finales; Another Look at Phil Spector

Too soon. We always feel that way when a season of FX's marvelously entertaining Justified comes to a close. It can't be easy sustaining that high-wire act of violent tension and wry bourbon-smooth humor, while staying true to the voice and tone of Elmore Leonard's creation of the laconic yet steely U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, but they sure make it go down easy. The fourth-season finale (Tuesday, 10/9c) is titled "Ghosts," and it's a haunted hour, all right — haunted by what-ifs, by dreams deferred and hopes crushed by the weight of bad acts and Harlan County's history of bad people — but it's also a truly badass episode when it needs to be, with fateful confrontations and crazy twists, some satisfying and others troubling.
