Mega Buzz: Another House Exit, Vampire Diaries' Accident, and NCIS' Finale

Every week, editors Adam Bryant and Natalie Abrams satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com or tweet them at @adam_bryant or @NatalieAbrams.

Is Chase really gone for good on House? — Christine
ADAM:
Not exactly. While he has definitely resigned, executive producer David Shore confirms that Chase is scheduled to appear in the series finale. But more surprisingly, one of his colleagues might follow him out the door. In Monday's penultimate episode, another doctor is readying a career life raft in case House implodes under the strain of Wilson's increasingly grim diagnosis.

Mega Buzz: A House Death, a Grey's Disaster and a CSI Exit?

Every week, editors Adam Bryant and Natalie Abrams satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com or tweet them at @adam_bryant or @NatalieAbrams.

So is Wilson definitely going to die on House? — Amanda
ADAM:
Well, the promos for next week's episode don't paint a pretty picture, but let's try to stay positive. (His best friend is a pretty good doctor, after all!) I suspect that Wilson will stick around at least through the series finale. But it does raise the question: Can House exist without Wilson? "For better or for worse, they are bound together," Hugh Laurie says. "They share a way of looking at the world, and I think they need each other." But does that "need" portend a happy ending? "I think the audience will be happy, not because House has learned some life lessons — that's not what he's about," Laurie says. "I think people will be happy for him. The fact that he's still got a 'mud in your eye, to hell with you all' attitude, I sort of love." So let's keep the sackcloth and ashes under wraps for now, OK?

Special Report: How Book-to-TV Adaptations Handle Spoilers

Producers of serialized dramas hate spoilers and famously put cast and crew on lockdown to keep juicy plot points under wraps. But how do you avoid spoilers when your hit show — like Pretty Little Liars, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries, Dexter, True Blood and The Secret Circle, all known for shocking twists — is based on a series of books? Your options: either mislead viewers, change up the story just a bit or take... read more

The Secret Circle Scoop: Death Strikes Chance Harbor!

The grim reaper will be paying a visit to Chance Harbor on The Secret Circle.

Now that John Blackwell (Joe Lando) has returned to town, the circle is in even more danger. And by the end of Thursday's episode, there will be with yet another death. (RIP, Nick) This week's outing also marks the reunion of Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) and Blackwell, who seem awfully friendly in the promos. Could Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) by the mysterious other Balcoin child? TVGuide.com turned to executive producer Andrew Miller to get the scoop:

The Secret Circle Scoop: Diana's New Love, John Blackwell's Arrival and the Balcoin Child

Who is John Blackwell's other child in The Secret Circle's coven?

While both audiences and cast wait with bated breath to find out, Circle's Shelley Hennig thinks the idea of good-girl Diana turning out to be the other Balcoin child would finally explain Diana's mysterious connection to Cassie (Britt Robertson). TVGuide.com pumped Hennig for scoop on who the other Balcoin child could be, as well as the arrival of Cassie's seemingly evil father, John Blackwell (Joe Lando). Plus: Sorry, Adam (Thomas Dekker), but Diana's getting a new love interest! read more
