Rosie Perez and Carlos Ponce Steam up the Jungle

Things are getting even steamier in the Lipstick Jungle next season when Rosie Perez and Puerto Rican singer Carlos Ponce heat up the action for several episodes. Ponce will be giving Victory's (Lindsey Price) main squeeze, Joe Bennett (Andrew McCarthy), a run for his money as the sexy Rodrigo, a contractor who promises to be antithesis of McCarthy's bougie character. Perez, meanwhile, will play Dalia, a feisty publicist who's at the top of her game. Dalia was reportedly inspired by Salma Hayek, who's literally running the show around Hollywood these days.Since Bennett isn't out of the picture, it can only mean that Lipstick will likely be melting with all the intrigue and attraction. How do you think these new show additions will handle Jungle life? The new roles were first reported by E! Jeers: Andrew McCarthy Gets Lost in Jungle

Jeers to Lipstick Jungle for miscasting Andrew McCarthy as Joe Bennett, the billionaire who romances fashion designer Victory Ford (Lindsay Price). In Sex and the City scribe Candace Bushnell’s excruciatingly self-derivative new NBC dramedy, Mr. Bennett seems like a Mr. Big wannabe. But with his diffident, charisma-free performance, ex-Brat Packer McCarthy (Pretty in Pink) seems more like Mr. Medium-Size. read more

We join the case after the key witness, the other dancer Traci, is found dead after being pushed down the stairs outside her apartment. Traci was going to testify on behave of Carla in the rape case against the football players. As the investigation by Falacci and Logan begins, it looks like Carla’s boyfriend was going to turn out to be the murderer – or at least that is what I thought. How ironic that Andrew McCarthy played Bronx A.D.A., Gene Hoyle who wa... read more

Seven Silly Questions for... Barbie

Valentine's Day finally has passed, but we're still down in the dumps — and not just because our mailbox saw less traffic than a multiplex showing a Bennifer film festival, either. So, to that end, we rang up the living doll intent on asking what's to become of the broken-hearted. TV Guide Online: Barbie, are you out of your freakin' mind, dumping Ken?! The guy hasn't gained an ounce in... well, ever! He's buff! He's even shiny! What were you thinking? Is this because he wouldn't marry you? Is it because he's really gay?
