'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses...' The emblematic sonnet engraved inside the Statue of Liberty was written in 1883 by Emma Lazarus, a Jewish New Yorker of Portuguese descent. On the statue's 125th anniversary, a film produced by Andrea Simon for an exhibit at New York's Museum of Jewish Heritage explores what the statue symbolizes today.
