Andrea Bowen, Maiara Walsh
The latest Desperate Housewives news has us in the mood for a threesome.
The facts are these: Drea de Matteo's character will have a 19-year-old son who we hear is a bit of a lady-killer. Maiara Walsh, who plays Gaby's headstrong niece, has been promoted to be a series regular. ABC has announced that Andrea Bowen, Susan's eye-rolling daughter, Julie, will return to the show for the Season 6 premiere. (TVGuide.com has confirmed that her stay on Wisteria Lane will be significantly longer.)
Isn't it time we got these crazy kids together? So let's cast the Italian Stallion already, shall we?

Is Bones coming back this fall? — Byerley
MATT: Well of course it is, on Thursday, Sept. 17. And if only because I had Eddie McClintock (now starring on SyFy's Warehouse 13) dropping by for a video Q&A, I reached out to Bones boss Hart Hanson to see if Eddie's Special Agent Tim Sullivan might ever reenter Temp's life. "We've always thought he might return one day, dead or alive. I prefer alive, actually," Hanson told the Buzz. McClintock in turn told me, "I had such a great time with Emily [Deschanel] and David [Boreanaz], so for Hart to say that makes me happy. I would love to [do Bones again]." Hmm, W13 did just wrap production on Season 1....

T.R. Knight knows what its like to be at the center of a media circus. The Greys Anatomy star, whose feud with former costar Isaiah Washington played out in the press, defended his beleaguered pal Ellen DeGeneres, currently embroiled in her own scandal. DeGeneres ignited a controversy last week after she sent her adopted dog Iggy to live with her hairdresser instead. After incurring the wrath of the adoption agency Mutts and Moms, the dog was placed with a new family. "I heard that she was crying on her show," Knight said to TV Guide at the L.A. AIDS Walk about Degeneres infamous breakdown on her daytime show. "That breaks your heart."Knight, who chose Degeneres show to talk about the incident where Washington called him a homophobic slur on the Grey's set, reasons, "Obviously something went wrong or else she wouldnt cry."Desperate Housewives regular Andrea Bowen also expressed her support for the talk-show host at the AIDS walk on Oct. 21. "I feel bad ...

Nicollette Sheridan by Danny Feld/ABC
Is Edie eligible for voice-over duty, having hanged herself in Desperate Housewives' Season 3 finale? Or is she as lousy at looping nooses as she is at landing men? Andrea Bowen, who plays DH's Julie (and stars in the June 25 Lifetime movie Girl, Positive), says the shocker came as much as a surprise to cast members as it did to viewers. "That wasnt in the original script, it was an added thing," the teen tells TVGuide.com. "In fact, I said to Jamie [Denton, Mike], 'I'm hearing all this stuff about the last few minutes of the show, and that it has to do with Nicollette [Sheridan]. Do you know anything about it?' He was like, 'No, I dont know at all.' So I have no idea what's happening with that story line, but I think it was a great way to leave it."Has Sheridan been told if Edie will live to see another day on Wisteria Lane? "I dont know if she knows," says Bowen. "But I definitely dont know!"POLL: Do you think Edie's dead? Vote here.

Well, they said the final scene would be a shocker, and they were right. I am speechless. You know how much I love my Edie. Would it be too much to ask to have Carlos heroically and miraculously walk in during the very first scene this fall and save her? I do not want this show to go on without Nicollette Sheridan. Yes, Edie is not one of the four main housewives, but the show would not be the same without her. Soap operas have had people hang themselves and be saved at the last minute. Until I get a confirmation, I'm going to spend this entire summer believing Edie is not dead. Just call me DID "Dave In Denial."Except for that ending, I was very happy with this season's finale episode. I thought it had the perfect Desperate Housewives blend of drama and comedy. I expected to be satisfied after seeing that departing coexecutive producer Joe Keenan was one of the writers (along with talented fellow coexec producer Kevin Murphy). Besides having the same job title for all those ...

Seems as though just about all of the housewives were having feelings for two men tonight. Susan had to choose between Ian and Mike; Gabrielle was dealing with her jealous feelings about Carlos while celebrating her engagement to Victor; and Lynette was further flirting innocently with Rick, much to the suspicions of Tom. For the first time ever, Edie was the only housewife devoting her attention to just one man. Nice change of pace for an episode that focused on the subject of gossip.First off, can we all agree that we're happy our dear Mrs. McCluskey was released from jail and finally told everyone what she secretly revealed to just Parker last week? I don't think any of us wanted her to be a murderer. Mrs. McC's explanation that she came home and found her husband dead on the couch with the remote still in his hand made perfect sense when she added that she discovered his pension plan had not been changed to make her the beneficiary (silly Gilbert forgot to switch it from his fir...
