Dana Delany, Kyle MacLachlan and Andrea Bowen are all set to come back before the ABC series signs off in May 2012, according to TVLine. When they'll appear and how long they'll stick around remains unknown.

Sarah Paulson, last seen on Desperate Housewives back in 2007, is returning to Wisteria Lane in her role as Lynette's loser sister, Lydia. But oh how things have changed. "Lynette always helped put the pieces back in Lydia's disastrous personal life, but she is now engaged and shows up with her new fiancé," previews executive producer Bob Daily. With Lynette newly separated from Tom, Lydia is now the one offering a shoulder to cry on. "We'll hear her say, 'Oh Lynette, I'm so sorry. What can I do to help?' The seeds of sibling rivalry are planted as the roles are reversed." TV fans may also remember Sarah from such series as Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Deadwood.

The latest Desperate Housewives news has us in the mood for a threesome.
The facts are these: Drea de Matteo's character will have a 19-year-old son who we hear is a bit of a lady-killer. Maiara Walsh, who plays Gaby's headstrong niece, has been promoted to be a series regular. ABC has announced that Andrea Bowen, Susan's eye-rolling daughter, Julie, will return to the show for the Season 6 premiere. (TVGuide.com has confirmed that her stay on Wisteria Lane will be significantly longer.)

MATT: Well of course it is, on Thursday, Sept. 17. And if only because I had Eddie McClintock (now starring on SyFy's Warehouse 13) dropping by for a video Q&A, I reached out to Bones boss Hart Hanson to see if Eddie's Special Agent Tim Sullivan might ever reenter Temp's life. "We've always thought he might return one day, dead or alive. I prefer alive, actually," Hanson told the Buzz. McClintock in turn told me, "I had such a great time with Emily [Deschanel] and David [Boreanaz], so for Hart to say that makes me happy. I would love to [do Bones again]." Hmm, W13 did just wrap production on Season 1....
