Dancing's Drew Carey: "I Would Love to Do Another Switch-Up"

Drew Carey, Witney Carson

Many of the contestants on Dancing with the Stars were apprehensive about switching partners for last week's switch-up, but that wasn't the case for Drew Carey. In fact, the Price Is Right host says he'd like to swap again. (No disrespect to Carey's pro partner Cheryl Burke, of course.)

Dancing's Derek Hough: It's Awesome to Be Back with Amy

Derek Hough

Hey everyone!

Thanks for your votes!

How'd you like the switch-up? I thought it went great. It was fun to see everyone with different partners and I think it was a good change of pace for us and the celebrities. For me as a student, I like to have a bunch of different teachers and I want insight from different people. Plus, it was great to admire Amy from afar. It was wonderful and I was so proud watching ...

DWTS' Erin Andrews: Reports of On-Set Tension "Had Me Worried"

Erin Andrews

Erin Andrews is four weeks into her new gig as co-host of Dancing with the Stars, and while her presence in the ballroom has been a breath of fresh air for viewers in Season 18, the transition period has not exactly been bump-free.

Last week, some tabloid reports surfaced, quoting anonymous sources who accused Andrews of "diva" behavior on the set, and speculated that ABC might already be looking to replace her. (Executive producer Conrad Green has vehemently denied that there's any animosity behind the scenes.)

"I've got to be honest. ... It kind of got me worried and scared," Andrews told TVGuide.com last week, noting that she immediately called producers to do damage control. "I just went back and forth with the producers like, 'Are we good here? Please tell me what I need to work on. Please tell me what I need to do. 'And they're like, 'We couldn't be happier.'"

Dancing's Derek Hough: I'm Excited About the Switch-Up

Derek Hough

Hey guys!

Thanks for your votes!

I'm still on a high from Monday. This week was so special. I feel very grateful. The whole theme of Monday night was gratitude. Whenever Amy gets nervous or uptight, she starts letting her that affect her, and she really wanted the dance to be perfect. I said to her backstage, "You can't put that much pressure to make it perfect because ...

Dancing's Derek Hough: I'm Excited About Amy's New Legs!

Derek Hough

Hey everyone!

Thanks for your votes!

I'm super proud of Amy and super happy with our swing. We had a little mistake. My jacket got in the way. I put my arm behind my back and she's supposed to grab my hand, but my hand went inside my jacket, so she couldn't grab my hand. It was no big deal. I thought she did great because right before we went on stage, her foot came loose! Because the floor is sticky, it was causing friction and it was coming undone. She needed a wrench to tighten it up, so I went to a lighting guy and he pulled out a Swiss army knife and she just sat on the ...

Dancing with the Stars: What "Mortified" Diana Nyad in Week 1?

Henry Byalikov, Diana Nyad

Long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad made headlines last year when she became the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without the assistance of a shark cage. But, she says, preparing to dance a minute-long foxtrot on the Season 18 premiere of Dancing with the Stars last Monday was just as daunting as gearing up for her multi-day open water feat.

"When I would stand on that shore over in Cuba and look out at the horizon, I knew that what was in front of me was going to be at least two, probably more like two-and-a-half nonstop days in the open ocean, with all kinds of obstacles," Nyad, 64, tells TVGuide.com. "And [Monday], as I stood holding [partner Henry Byalikov's] hands, I was thinking, 'You have one minute and six seconds for this foxtrot.' It's just an absurdly different kind of challenge."

Nyad and Byalikov ended up with an 18 from the judges after their routine, which puts them in second-to-last place heading into Week 2. Though Nyad says she felt OK about the dance itself, there was one aspect of the performance that left her "mortified." Check out our interview with Nyad to find out what frustrated her to the point of tears, as well as what she and Henry are working on for this week's cha-cha.

Dancing's Derek Hough: I Can't Believe We Got a 24

Derek Hough

Hi everyone!

Hope you enjoyed the show Monday.

Amy and I had a blast. I thought she did great considering all the craziness the past few weeks. Right before we went on, she said, "I'm nervous, but I don't know if I'm nervous enough." I think it was from the jet lag. If it's a few hours, it's OK, but she was, like, 12 hours ahead and completely out of her body. You want to be in your body and present when you perform in anything. But when you're tired, you're floating. So we did a victory pose where you put your arms up in a V shape and jumped around. That gets your adrenaline going and blood pumping. If you keep still, you'll just get more tired.

I was expecting something like three sevens, so I can't believe we got a 24. For me, scores are irrelevant, but psychologically, the 24 is good for Amy. It can give her the ...

Monday TV: Lorre's Ladies (Mom & Molly), Dancing Returns

Anna Faris and Allison Janney

On this day most readily associated with the Wearing of the Green, consider a TV industry green with envy at the success of Chuck Lorre's comedy empire on CBS, which renewed all of his current series last week, led by the terrific and tremendously popular The Big Bang Theory (a powerhouse providing a clout that helps explain why the beyond-past-its-prime Two and a Half Men also made the cut). Lorre's two Monday comedies, anchored by strong female performances, are also back next season — and that's especially good news for fans (including me) of the underperforming, underrated Mom, with its sensational mother-daughter tag team of Allison Janney and Anna Faris as Bonnie and Christy, two generations of recovering addicts raising a family against powerful odds.

Dancing's Derek Hough: Amy Has Really Inspired Me

Derek Hough

Hey everyone!

How's it going? Hope you've had a great 2014 so far! I'm excited to be blogging again and I'm so stoked for the new season and to be with Amy.

For those of you who don't know, Amy is a Paralympic snowboarder — and she just won a bronze today! Woohoo! She is a double amputee and is absolutely amazing. I am in awe of her. I went to Sochi to rehearse with her and it was a really great experience, not just working with Amy, but to be among the energy of the Games. What was really interesting ...
