After a pediatrician is found guilty of molesting his patients, he sues the NYPD and a medical center, claiming they hesitated to take legal action. When he turns up dead, Stabler and Benson are surprised to see Alex Cabot (Stephanie March) at the scene.
Police suspect that a junior military officer was raped, and the prime suspects are soldiers from her unit. However, the victim is reluctant to cooperate and her commanding officer attempts to impede the investigation.
