November 2, 2006: No Exit

OK so heres the thing I liked No Exit It was spooky plus I liked the fact that Sam Dean and Jo were after Americas first serial killer That scene where HH Holmes reached into the tomb to stroke Jo like you would a pet was supremely creepy Some of the lines were funny too There was a Ghostbusters reference Cheap Trick Surrender and Foreigner Cold as Ice tunes were heard And we found out a little bit more about the Winchester history There was just one thing missing and its a little glaring since what was missing has been around since the pilot Its all the brotherly banter A third and fourth party get introduced and the vibe changes Its not a bad thing I like Jo and Ellen actually But to me you need to insert as much Sam and Dean sarcastic banter as you possibly can especially if the brotherly angsting is briefly on low The episode needed more banter like thisLos Angeles California Whats in LAYoung girl has been kidnapped by read full article

October 5, 2006: Everybody Loves a Clown

Ive been trying to psych myself up for Everybody Loves a Clown since last week I Hate Clowns Maybe this clown phobia started when I saw Poltergeist back in the day and that toy clown attacked the kid Or it may have even been Tim Curry in the Stephen King miniseries It Well everything scared me in that one except for that silly cartoon ending So you have to know that this episode creeped me out big time The killer clown makes nicey-nice with the kids at the carnival then later shows up at their house where it offs their parents Thats scary It kept on waving to the kids and then holding their hands Even though there really was no gore the creep factor was on high To me its often scarier when you dont see the blood and the guts What I really loved was that Sammy had a bit of a clown phobia too and Dean took advantage of that So cute So funnyAre you surprised that I actually talked about the scares before all the angst of the episode Because usually i read more

FALL-TV UPDATE!

Variety reports that Sara Gilbert (Twins, Roseanne) and Maulik Pancholy (Weeds) have joined the ABC pilot Girls on the Bus, about reporters covering a political campaign.... The Hollywood Reporter has Jessica Lucas (She's the Man) and Alona Tal (Veronica Mars) scoring roles on CW's Split Decision, Karen LeBlanc joining CW's Runaway, and John Ducey and Colby Paul getting cast on Fox's Union Jackass. (Am I allowed to say "jackass" here? In a non-K-Fed story?) read more
