What to Expect from Girls Season 3

After getting pretty dark last year (never say the word Q-Tip to us again), Girls' third season, which premieres Sunday at 10/9c on HBO is refreshingly light. Maybe it's because for once when the girls are faced with obstacles, such as death and depression, they don't sit around whining like victims of circumstance. Mindy Kaling's Elle Magazine Cover Sparks Controversy

Elle Magazine is facing backlash in the wake of its Women in TV issue, with some critics saying the publication intentionally highlighted only Mindy Kaling's face on the cover because she isn't as thin as some of the other honorees.

Gracing the other Women in TV covers are Amy PoehlerZooey Deschanel and Allison Williams, all of whom are shown in nearly full-body color shots. Kaling's picture, however, is cropped from the chest up and is in black-and-white. Check out all the covers here.
