A number of big shows left the door open to introduce pivotal characters in the fall, including one mysterious husband, and not one, not two, but three long-lost or believed-to-be-dead moms. Before production returns for the fall and casting kicks into high gear, we thought we'd take a closer look at these exciting series cast additions and make our own suggestions. Let the casting games begin...

Taylor Wily
Relative newcomer Taylor Wily has become a familiar face on Hawaii Five-0, even if that face has been superimposed on the body of a shrimp.
The former sumo wrestler and Hawaii native plays Kamekona, an island local who sometimes acts as an informant for Five-0 when he's not pursuing his own entrepreneurial endeavors. His latest venture is running a shrimp truck, which is adorned with graphics of disconcerting Kamekona-shrimp hybrids. Using his own image has been one of Kamekona's marketing ploys since the beginning of the series when he printed his face on t-shirts to advertise his shave ice business.

Daniel Dae Kim, Reiko Aylesworth
Hawaii Five-0 almost had the perfect scenario for a romantic date: a seaside locale, a shared meal, an intimate vibe ... oh, and about two dozen tourists trying to take pictures of the interlude.
On a balmy August day at the Duke Kahanamoku lagoon at Waikiki's Hilton Hawaiian Village, Daniel Dae Kim and Reiko Aylesworth were filming a date between Chin Ho Kelly and ex-fiancee Malia for Monday's episode, "Ma'em'e" (10/9c, CBS). TVGuide.com was on the set to check out Kamekona's shrimp truck and find out what's going on with cousins Chin Ho and Kono (Grace Park).
Hawaii Five-0: Could the team lose Kono?

Patti Duke
These days, a lot of TV actresses are taking on dual roles: The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine), Ringer's Sarah Michelle Gellar (Bridget/Siobhan) and The Lying Game's Alexandra Chando (Emma/Sutton). But back in 1963, Patty Duke was all on her own as identical cousins Patty and Cathy Lane on The Patty Duke Show. "We didn't have digital anything," recalls Duke, 64. "We'd [shoot] the Patty side first, then everyone would stand in place while I sneaked off and came back dressed as Cathy. In postproduction, they would actually split the celluloid."
Tonight Duke is returning to TV for a guest appearance on Hawaii Five-0. It's a role she couldn't turn down. "I play a woman in the second stage of Alzheimer's whose son was involved in a nefarious deal with gold coins in the ocean," says Duke, who took home the best supporting actress Oscar for The Miracle Worker in 1962. "McGarrett [Alex O'Loughlin] and Lori [Lauren German] come to inform my character that her son is dead and find that I'm living 20 or 30 years in the past. In her head, [her] son is still a boy coming home from school any minute for a sandwich."
