Alan Ruck Fast Facts:

Made his Broadway debut in 1985 opposite Matthew Broderick in Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues.
The next year, he landed his breakout film role as Broderick's hypochondriac high-school pal Cameron Frye in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Before winning a part on the hit sitcom Spin City in 1996, Ruck starred in several short-lived, early-'90s TV comedies including Fox's The Edge, CBS' Daddy's Girls and the WB's Muscle.
In 2005 he was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for his performance as Leo Bloom in The Producers. Broderick had originated the role on Broadway.
