HBO has picked up Aaron Sorkin's series about a cable news network.
The new show will star Jeff Daniels as an anchorman with a team including Maggie (Alison Pill), Jim (John Gallagher Jr.), Sloan (Olivia Munn), Neal (Dev Patel) and Don (Thomas Sadoski). Emily Mortimer plays executive producer MacKenzie and Law & Order vet Sam Waterson is the boss, Charlie.
