Telling Alan Carr on his "Chatty Man" talk show, Lovato said, "I've been meaning to get them out for years, but my career has just been going, going, going." The starlet then added, "the thing is, I keep getting sick, like once a month I get really sick and they’re actually not doing me any good, so they’re being removed." As she prepared for surgery, Demi took to twitter saying, "this is my last day before my tonsils and I part ways…I dedicate this song to those little suckers." Lovato dedicated Taylor Swifts hit "We Are Never Getting Back Together."
