Futurama Returns for Time-Traveling Crossover With The Simpsons

Futurama lives! For one night at least. The long-running sci-fi cartoon spoof, which signed off last year, is making a time-traveling comeback on The Simpsons (Sunday, Nov. 9 at 8/7c on Fox). Despite the fact the shows are set 1,000 years apart, the crossover makes sense, given that both series were created by Matt Groening and share a similar animation style. "At the table read, I said, "Let's celebrate this joyous reunion between Matt Groening's left and right brains,'" says Simpsons executive producer Al Jean. "And I really think that's what it is." read more

First Look: Family Guy and The Simpsons Crossover Episode

D'oh...nuts! Homer Simpson and his clan make a guest appearance on the Sept. 28 season premiere of Family Guy (9/8c, Fox) when the Griffins visit Springfield.

Brats Bart and Stewie team up for trouble, Lisa teaches Meg how to play the sax, and Homer and Peter shoot the bull over brewskis. "We let [the Family Guy team] do their thing with the script," says The Simpsons executive producer Al Jean. "Both shows are all about satire. We weren't about to say, 'You can't make fun of us!'"

Exclusive: Inside The Simpsons' Very Special LEGO Episode

When two legendary behemoths get in each other's space — say, King Kong and Godzilla — results can be tragic. But when the LEGO Group and The Simpsons come together, it's a little slice of Springfield heaven. A very pricey slice. read more

The Simpsons Get the White Christmas Blues

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas — but only where The Simpsons live. The long-running Fox series will celebrate the holidays Sunday, Dec. 15 (8/7c) in predictably screwy fashion: Thanks to global warming, there's no snow anywhere in the United States except in Springfield, where a radiation leak at the town's nuclear-power plant has resulted in lots of local white stuff. Cue the price gouging.
