(1932, Monogram) Henry B. Walthall, Al St. John, Leon Janney, Aileen Pringle. The evils of alcoholism! In something of a self-portrayal, Walthall is a once-famous silent actor on the skids due to alcoholism. He ends up in a traveling sideshow before making a big comeback on the stage. Final scene is memorable. This is very possibly Walthall's best performance in a sound film. Definitely recommended. From 16mm. watch
