As the Day She Was Born

While much of the focus tonight was on Neela it seemed like almost everyone at County was dealing with some sort of personal or professional crisis Lets start with Neela walking around the ER naked No great surprise that this was a dream that reflected her own insecurities about her birthday her decisions and her life in general Unfortunately both Harold and Tony were on the receiving end of her bad day When Harold came clean about his decision to change specialties Neela went straight from surprised to unsupportive to downright bullying the poor kid Next up for a haranguing was Tony While she did make some valid points about his tendency to jump from relationship to relationship she was pretty tough on him and somewhat hypocritical given her personal track record with men I loved that Dubenko was the one who set her straight in the end reminding her of the unique talents she possesses and offering the saddest and most inedible birthday confection Ive ever seen read more

In the Works: View of Joizy, Sci Fi Revolution and More

Debi Mazar (Entourage), Aida Turturro (The Sopranos) and Karen Duffy (Dumb and Dumber) are shopping around a syndicated talk show fancied as a New Jersey take on The View, sources tell the Reporter. The line for tickets forms at Exit 143.... Sci Fi Channel has greenlit Revolution, a futuristic (duh) action-drama pilot about colonists of the Earth-like New America fighting for independence from their increasingly hostile homeland, the United State.... Damon Wayans is cocreating a new family sitcom for ABC, one edgier in tone than My Wife & Kids and in which he will star as a widower who takes in the teen stepson he never knew. read more

Emmy Nominees React to Their Golden Opportunities

We know what you think about the nominees for this year's Primetime Emmy Awards, but what do the lucky nominees have to say about their good fortune? Some of your favorites reveal what went through their minds as the good news got out. Doug Ellin, executive producer of Entourage (Outstanding Comedy Series nominee) "The New York Times called Entourage the best show in its first season. If for some reason [the voters] appreciate it more and we win this time, there's nothing we've consciously done to change it.... I spoke to Jeremy [Piven], who's in London doing a movie, and I'm playing golf with Kevin [Dillon] in about two hours. Jeremy is kind of our home-run hitter, I knew he was going to get nominated, and when Kevin and Martin Landau also got nominated, it was just great." Tim Kring, executi read more
