Adam Goldberg, 2 Days in Paris
Since his breakthrough role as a nebbish teen in Dazed and Confused, Adam Goldberg has worked steadily in both television and movies, including memorable turns in Saving Private Ryan and A Beautiful Mind. Goldberg can currently be seen in theaters opposite Julie Delpy (Before Sunrise, Broken Flowers) in the relationship comedy 2 Days in Paris. Meanwhile, he's been hilariously slimy on the small screen as Entourage's wannabe movie producer Nick Rubenstein. The Los Angeles native gave TVGuide.com a bit of background on his Parisian production, as well as some insight on playing a Hollywood low-life.

In the artistic spirit of Billy Walsh I thought about writing tonights blog entirely in Spanish But unfortunately I doubt I could come up with anything as remotely eloquent as Johnny Dramas parting words so I decided to stick with my native tongueNormally season finales make me nostalgic and a little depressed since I know my favorite shows wont be back for a while This is always especially true with HBO shows which tend to go on hiatus for what seems like years Oddly that was not the case with tonights Season 3 finale since the network has decided to kick off Season 4 in only two short weeks So luckily for us we wont have to wait too long to see what happens From the looks of the previews we are actually going to get to see Vince making a movie Thats a new angle for the show to explore and it looks like it could be interesting to say the least But first lets talk about the action tonight The crew was at a crossroads as t

This was a completely riveting show I was literally on the edge of my seat I am still having heart palpitationsThe show starred the fantastic Adam Goldberg who was incredibly intense in the role of Bruce a dying man who has lost his job and finds he has few options to protect his family once he is gone Dazed and Confused wasnt the first thing I saw Adam Goldberg in but it was the movie that I think of whenever I see him Besides The Hebrew Hammer which was hysterical to say the least Adam is a gifted comedic actor so it was really satisfying to see him in Medium playing a very unfunny character The show opened with Allison speaking of dread and its many manifestations My favorite lines from that wereDread gnaws at youDread is worrying about something you cant do anything about Ive had that horrifying feeling and it is not something you can easily shake This is going to be an intense show Double dream opening Al has a dream

Within seconds of Medium starting I had two nearly opposing thoughts Is that really Mimi Kennedy and Are we about to be subjected to the small-screen version of The Exorcism of Emily Rose Luckily it was Mimi I always loved her on Dharma and Greg as Dharmas wacky hippie mother And not for nothing but The Exorcism of Emily Rose was pretty good I watched it last year after I started blogging Dexter since Jennifer Carpenter who played Dexters sister Debbie starred as Emily Rose in the movie Another fantastic effort from the writers who apparently were feeling that a little twist was in order I knew something was awry when Alison and Devalos went to talk to the very attractive woman who was supposedly Colleens therapist She was a little too Katherine Heigl to be a psychiatrist I thought that Michael was married to Mimi Kennedy even after the blonde bombshell doctor showed up It wasnt until Allison went to the hospital to bring

Question: Do you have any good spoilers for Entourage?
Answer: Adam Goldberg just shot a guest appearance that'll air when the show returns in early '07. Not sure if he'll be playing himself, but he will have something to do with "Medellín" falling back on Ari and Vince's lap. Also, Drama's "career" will get a major boost when he lands a role in Rush Hour 3. Or so he thinks.

My Name Is EarlFunniest episode since Joy's wedding. Of course, that could be because it's another Joy-centric story. Or it could be because it was a veritable encyclopedia of the characters' ignorant notions: An exhausted Randy had trouble getting air into his mouth and down to his stomach.Earl and Randy tried to carry stolen gas in plastic bags.Randy said the carpet would protect Philo from oncoming traffic.Earl asked if books on tape were sticky; then he assumed an iPod was some sort of space capsule.Darnell said that jealousy felt like blood was gushing in and out of his heart. Loved how badly Randy just wanted to let Philo kill himself, clearly just out of laziness, not malice toward the annoying Adam Goldberg. Meanwhile, of Joy's many, many brilliant l

Question: Just saw your website for the first time. Gosh, you are an egomaniac! I always wondered. Answer: What's that you ask, Marissa? What are my picks for the 10 worst shows of 2005? I thought you'd never ask!
1. 2005 MTV Video Music Awards: A three-hour pile of overproduced horse poop. Note to viewers: Next time the VMA host feels the need to repeatedly tell you that "anything can happen," trust me: Nothing will.2. The War at Home: Turns out War is hell and horribly written.3. The West Wing (debate episode): Just like a real presidential debate, only duller.4. Saturday Night Live: The women still rock, but the rest of the show feels about as desperate as one of Horatio Sanz's midskit giggle fits.5. Queer as Folk ser

Question: Obviously there are tons of Christmas movies, but how about Hannukah movies? I don't want episodes of TV shows – I'm looking for real movies.
Answer: All I can come up with are two comedies: The Hebrew Hammer (2003), starring Adam Goldberg as hardboiled Jewish private eye Mordechai Jefferson Carver, who teams up with the Kwanzaa Liberation Front to defeat evil Santa Damian's (Andy Dick) plot to enforce holiday hegemony, and Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights (2002), an animated feature. Eight Crazy Nights is family-friendly (assuming your family isn't too uptight), while The Hebrew Hammer is not — it's pretty damned funny, though.

Question: When can we expect to see some Friends on Joey?
Answer: Well, it's not Ross or Rachel, but it's probably as close as we're ever going to get: Adam Goldberg — aka Chandler's obsessive roommate, Eddie — will show up in December playing a completely different character: a high-school chum of Joey's named Jimmy. As of now, it's just one episode, but considering the huge twist that's in store for Jimmy, I'm fairly certain we'll be seeing him again.
