Allrighty-then. After his African adventure in "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls", Ace returned to Florida, married girlfriend Melissa and became the doting father of a baby boy. Never one to sit still, Ace's curious nature took him on another remote case. The goofball gumshoe was never to be seen or heard from again. Single mom Melissa couldn't fully put the past behind her. Now a zookeeper, she and Ace Jr. (Flitter) have made a life carrying on without her husband. Much to Melissa's chagrin, however, 12-year-old Ace Jr. has begun to follow in his father's comic footsteps. He has recently become a pet detective for the 7th grade set, often trying to recover classmates' missing pets, and always with big mishaps. But when a master animal thief abducts a baby panda and his mom is wrongly arrested of the crime, Ace Jr. must jump into action. Now, with the help of pals Laura and tech wizard A-Plus, young Ace must bring the thief to justice and do his inane and lovable dad's memory justice.

Bones Rocks the House!

Move over Simon Cowell Booth and Brennan are doing their own kind of judging when they take on a music-biz homicide in tonights episode of Bones LAs open-mic nightsare very intense and really competitive explains executive producer Hart Hanson of the cases inspiration We thought Theres a good venue for Bones Then we thought we might as well hit up the Idol scene [for singers] So Idol fans should keep an eye out for Season 5s Ace Young and last years Brandon Rogers in guest spots as aspiring warblers as well as a little crooning from Emily Deschanels notoriously uptight Brennan She sings Girls Just Want to Have Fun laughs Hanson Its funny because Emily is a good singerand Brennan is notThankfully she still has her day job with Booth because Hanson hints that more than just the music is about to die down in DC The ending is pretty shocking Damian Holbrook read more

Top 12 Guys

The truth is I wasnt really buying the hype about how talented this group of contestants was But tonights American Idol went a long way to convincing me The Top 12 guys did an impressive job not all were major league performances but a few totally hit it out of the park The theme was 60s songs which I thought was sort of a questionable call on the part of the producers but most of the boys handled their assignments well It was also fun to see the judges harassing and teasing each other finally it feels like Idol Including Ryan being back to his old form hes already stirring up trouble with Simon and man-handling the contestants Its nice to see that some things never changeBut of course it was all about the singers tonight starting withDavid Hernandez In the Midnight Hour Good for him for wanting to prove Simon wrong I thought his vocals were darn good except for the very end but his performance skills could definitely use some work 151 read more

Episode 7: Branch Closing

Jenna Fischer thinks that this week's episode of The Office [Thursdays at 8:30 pm/ET, on NBC] is the best yet, and I concur! Yes, I'm Kate Flannery. Thank you. Thank you so much. I play the drunken redhead on the show, who seems to be the favorite of many folks. There is so much I want to share with you, so much I want to tell, but I am contractually obligated to keep my big, fat mouth shut. Now, in case you hadn't noticed, the words "branch" and "closing" are in the title of this week's episode. Kind of gives it away, right? So, let me just say that the downsizing issue of the first two seasons is nothing compared to this.Jenna speaks more freely about it in her MySpace.com blog: "You must catch our show this Thursday night. I've already seen it, and it is the best one we've ever done. I'm not kidding. Michael finds out that the Scranton branch is being shut down. He and Dwight go to New York to try to save the branch. The stuff they do together is the absolute funniest thing ever ... read more

Ace Is Low on American Idol

Six weeks ago, if anyone had told you that Ace Young — he of the wavy hair, soulful eyes and "Father Figure" flourishes — wouldn't make the final four of Fox's American Idol (Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9 pm/ET), you'd have thought them crazy like William Hung. The Denver native, though, confirmed the improbable when he crooned "That's All" for his final performance.

What went wrong for the cutie crooner? "I don't think anything went wrong," he says. "I think that on any given night, anything can happen."

Anything, indeed, as evidenced by who joined Ace in the bottom two — the competition's other (and read more

American Idol Song choice presented...

American Idol Song choice presented major problems for the first two guys, Patrick Hall and David Radford. Patrick's nerves were too obvious; he could've used some of Melissa Etheridge's bravado and grit to get through "Come to My Window." Meanwhile David picked "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" to get away from the crooner label and then proceeded to "Sinatra" his way through a Vegas-style version. Not the best start for either guy. Bucky Covington used his growling vocals to full advantage on "Simple Man." Ryan Seacrest contrasted his own potential song title with Bucky's by calling himself a "Shallow Hollywood Talking Head," which may be the most accurate judgment anyone has ever made on American Idol.
