NBC's new Wonder Woman pilot from David E. Kelley will put a new spin on the role Lynda Carter embodied from 1975-79 — three identities, each with her own love interest.
In addition to Wonder Woman's mousy alias, Diana Prince, she will have a third, more powerful persona named Diana Themyscira, the confidant C.E.O. of Themyscira Industries...
Here's an early first glimpse at McFarlane Toys' new line of deluxe 6-inch Walking Dead action figures. This figure is of lead character Rick Grimes as he appears in the comic book series created by Robert Kirkman. Joining Rick will be popular comic character Michonne along with a Zombie Lurker and Zombie Roamer.
A second line of figures will depict the AMC television series versions of the characters, including actor Andrew Lincoln as Officer Grimes, as well as figures based Norman Reedus as the villainous Daryl Dixon and two zombies for Rick and Daryl to combat — a Zombie Walker and a Zombie Biter. Ouch! Both lines will hit specialty stores in the fall (the first in September...
On Monday, NBC.com will premiere its second digital comic based on its struggling series, The Cape — with a cover designed by famed comic artist Alex Ross.
The story for the second novel picks up the saga launched in the first — further exploring the origins of The Cape, the fictional comic book character that inspired the TV character Vince Faraday (David Lyons) to assume the identity of his son's favorite crime fighting hero. We don't yet know this Cape's identity, but there is a little more back-story coming in this novel about who he is and what his relationship is with the mysterious Isabel.
The entire digital comic will be viewable on NBC.com this Monday as the network's valentine to its loyal Cape fans. Check out a sneak peek after the jump....
Many of us (myself included) were stunned to realize that in January, original Beverly Hills, 90210 star Gabrielle Carteris became the first of her old Peach Pit gang to turn the big 5-0.
Well, if you're wondering what Gabrielle looks like now (pretty amazing actually!), you'll find out on March 14 when she debuts as an alien on NBC's The Event. Gabrielle's character, Diane Geller, who appears again on the March 21 episode, is an old friend of ...
As I first reported last week, Oscar host and nominee James Franco is in talks with the Three's Company estate holders about developing the 1977-84 sitcom into a feature film and Broadway play — possibly with a dramatic take, after presenting this unusual concept as ...
Watch out, Glee — Modern Family is staging its own high-school musical for a spring episode. Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) takes over the kids' music program and "wants to introduce them to musical greats like Bernstein and ...
The Simpsons are going to the Oscars on Fox February 20 (one week before ABC airs the real deal), and 2001 winner Halle Berry will be on stage to present an animated film award.
"Bart makes a short film version of his Angry Dad Web series and is up for an Oscar and other awards, but Homer tries to take all the credit," executive producer Al Jean tells TV Guide Magazine. "Halle starts talking about herself as she's presenting. She ad-libbed something she actually dreams about at night that we left in."
By now, you'd think the kids of William McKinley High would have had enough of silly love songs. But we got a peek at Glee's emotional Valentine's Day episode, and we see that isn't so.
With cupid circling over more than one couple in crisis tonight, glee club director Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) asks his students to express their feelings through song. "My assignment to the kids is to have them perform love ballads," says Morrison. But for some, the holiday will prove painful. "It's high school, so the couplings are sporadic," explains Morrison, "just as it is in any real high school."
With Desperate Housewives expected to conclude its run in 2013 (pending contract renewals with the four leading ladies), series creator Marc Cherry is already plotting out the next neighborhood he'll terrorize. In an exclusive interview with TV Guide Magazine, the writer/producer describes his new one-hour ABC pilot Hallelujah (which he's producing with partner Sabrina Wind under their Wind Productions) as ...
NBC's Law & Order: SVU has conjured up one wicked guest star for an upcoming spring episode. Former Charmed witch Rose McGowan, who played the bewitching Paige on the long-running WB hit, has been cast as another kind of temptress.
"Our episode is called Bombshell and Rose McGowan is the ultimate bombshell," SVU executive producer Neal Baer told me this past weekend at the Writer's Guild Awards. "Rose plays a grifter named Cassandra who strikes swinging men who frequent sex clubs. And we're very excited to have her."
The 37-year-old beauty...
