Jane the Virgin stars newcomer Gina Rodriguez as Jane, an ambitious 23-year-old whose grandmother convinced her at an early age that women must protect their virginity at all costs. But when she gets pregnant after she is accidentally inseminated (what? it could happen!), she is extremely conflicted about whether to carry the child of a man (Justin Baldoni) whose battle with cancer has left him infertile.
Chris Harrison, Andi Dorfman
Bachelorette host Chris Harrison wastes no time asking Andi the most pressing question on Monday's Men Tell All episode: Is she pregnant?
Every season, the show's rejected men and women reunite to hash out the season, while the star gets to come face-to-face with all of their exes. Monday's episode is also a chance for Harrison to address rumors, including the recent — and very ridiculous -- one that Andi is pregnant after her Fantasy Suite dates.
The Vampire Diaries
Vampire Diaries fans have seen Elena Gilbert grieve, but when Season 6 premieres, she'll have seemingly moved on from losing the love of her life, Damon.
"One of the big questions you'll be asking when we get back is how did she pick up the pieces?" executive producer Julie Plec told TVGuide.com. "Or did she pick up the pieces at all? When we come back, several months have passed and Elena has returned to her life at school and seems to be doing well, but the mystery is really how well is she doing? And she's got some odd and awkward coping mechanisms that inform a lot about where she is and how she's handling this particular grief."
Andi Dorfman and Chris
The Bachelorette's fan-favorite farmer exited in the most heartbreaking goodbye of the season.
On Monday's episode, Andi chose to forgo her individual room for the fantasy suite with both Nick and Josh but went into her final date with Chris unsure of what her decision would be. After a fun day of horseback riding, followed by Chris expressing his feelings for her even more during dinner, Andi realized she couldn't see a future with the Iowa native and that she didn't want to put him through another rose ceremony. The two parted ways and although devastated, Chris never wavered from being the gentleman he was all season long. Does Chris have any regrets about his journey? Did Andi really not know she was going to send him home that week? The two weigh in. Plus: Does Chris want Andi to choose Nick or Josh?
The Vampire Diaries has a new sheriff in town.
Eureka's Colin Ferguson has been cast as Tripp, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Tripp is a strong and disciplined head of a community militia and surrogate father to his young trainees who will do anything to protect his town. He'll first appear in the Season 6 premiere, which takes place following a significant time jump.
Executive producer Julie Plec first teased the news on Twitter writing, "He's in town to give Sheriff Forbes a run for her money." Ferguson, best known for playing Sheriff Jack Carter on the Syfy series, also shared his excitement about joining the CW drama adding:
Anna Paquin, Sam Trammell and Ryan Kwanten
True Blood fans aren't the only ones having a hard time letting go of the HBO vampire drama. In fact, many of the cast members refuse to leave set empty handed.
So, what are the actors taking? "The Stackhouse badge [I] wear as a cop," Ryan Kwanten says in the video below.
True Blood's Final Season: Where were we and what's next?
Looking back at the show's seven-year run, star Anna Paquin admits she's emotional about saying goodbye. "I started this when I was 25 and there have been a lot of changes in my personal life," she says. "This has been creatively the most exciting thing I've ever gotten to do."
It's been a long time since Halle Berry was on the small screen, but as soon as she read the script for Extant, she knew it was definitely time for her return.
"I had been reading television and film [scripts] and this was so well written I thought, 'Wow, I have to do this,'" Berry tells TVGuide.com.
Another huge factor? Executive producer Steven Spielberg. "He is the king!" she adds. "I desperately wanted to work with him."
Premiering on Wednesday (9/8c, CBS), Extant is about an astronaut (Berry) who comes home from a 13-month solo mission and learns that she is pregnant. And that's only the beginning of the show's bizarre mysteries that include strange occurrences while in space and her young son's theory of impending extinction.
"What happened? How did it happen? Is it my egg? Is it an offspring? There are all these questions we have to answer," she says.
Watch Berry talk about the series:
Andi Dorfman, Eric
There's no handbook for how to proceed when a reality show contestant passes away and there certainly hasn't been much precedence for how to handle it if it happens while the show is still filming. When Eric Hill tragically died shortly after his exit from The Bachelorette, it wasn't a question if it would be addressed, but producers were faced with whether or not they should film and subsequently broadcast the remaining cast learning of the horrific accident.
The Bachelorette host on Eric's final episode: It's hard to know the right thing to do
On Monday's episode, following Andi's hometown dates with Marcus, Josh, Nick and Chris, host Chris Harrison sat the five down in his living room to explain what had happened. Viewers watched as the group was given the shocking news and as Andi broke down remembering her last conversation with Eric. Eventually, the episode turned to a one-on-one with Andi, followed by a melancholy rose ceremony in which Andi again wondered how to celebrate the next phase of her journey amidst such tragedy.
Andi Dorfman, Nick V.
The Bachelorette's hometown week might've ended on a very sad note, but before that it was nothing but love from the families for Andi.
This week, Andi headed to the homes of Marcus, Josh, Nick and Chris where two of the men in particular pulled out all the stops to show her their love. But despite Marcus' openness with his feelings — and his incredible striptease — Andi let him go during what turned out to be a devastating rose ceremony following the news of Eric's death.
