After a one-week hiatus, the One Tree Hill gang is back, and while one couple stays stronger than ever, three others seem to break further apart.
Nathan works with his agency, minus Clay, and a deal is coming in. But during the meeting, Nathan and Haley find out it's to play overseas in Spain — a way for Nate to improve his game and come back to the NBA a year later. Not quite the deal they were hoping for. And for Haley, this new option may hurt her career in the short-term. When she suggests to Miranda that she finish her album in Spain, Miranda tells her that they've scheduled a tour to support the new album and if she doesn't go through with it, she'll break the record contract. But when Haley asks Nathan what he's thinking, he tells her that they should go to Spain. Nate believes if he were to sit out of the NBA for a year, he wouldn't make it back, while playing overseas during that time, will ensure his return. After talking everything over with her sis, Haley tells Nathan she's not going on tour because she wants him to have his dream. But Nathan already mapped out the tour for her, with every great stop along the way, and wants her to have her dream as well. Aww.
Allen Smith was eliminated just one week shy of the Biggest Loser finale. A firefighter and father, Allen, 44, was a strong competitor who has excelled since returning home. Now down a total of 125 pounds, Allen told TVGuide.com he was surprised to be voted out and shares how he's been able to continue his weight loss despite his busy lifestyle.
TVGuide.com: Were you surprised with Amanda's decision to vote you out?
Allen Smith: I was a little surprised because Amanda is somewhat of a game-player. I was thinking she would want to look at going for the win. But when you're on The Biggest Loser and you get down to just a few contestants, really nothing comes as a big...
Holidays are a time for family, fun and, of course, food — which doesn't mean you have to throw all your hard work to the wayside. The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney, Season 4 winner Bill Germanakos and Couples contestant Nicole Brewer offer some tips to stay healthy during the holidays and beyond.
Treat Thanksgiving like any other day
It's easy to use any holiday — especially those that revolve around food — as a "cheat" day, so Germanakos suggests treating it as "just another day." Just because many people gain a few pounds during the holidays, "it does not give you a free lease to go ahead and ruin what you work so hard for all year long," he says. "It's a matter of taking some precautions and trying not to overdo it." Newlywed Brewer makes sure she doesn't deprive herself. "I definitely have a spoonful of everything so I can feel like I had Thanksgiving dinner, but I don't go for a second plate."
Filling up on the good stuff
Fill up on healthier options, leaving little room for the higher calorie items. Sweeney does this by eating...
Last week Rebecca was sent home (and into the arms of her now boyfriend Daniel), leaving just five people remaining for four finale spots. Who gets one more shot at the $250,000 grand prize and the title? Keep reading to find out.
With one week until heading back to the real world, Bob and Jillian want to show their trainees just how far they've come. As the contestants do some of the workouts they struggled with in Week 1, we viewers get treated to some juxtaposed images of their former selves.
Rebecca Meyer may have lost 73 pounds on the Biggest Loser ranch, but in the weeks after her elimination she gained a boyfriend: fellow contestant Daniel Wright.
"We didn't really like each other all that well in the beginning, and went from not liking each other to becoming friends to becoming best friends. After we both left the show, we wanted to spend hours on the phone talking to each other. I fell in love with my best friend," Rebecca told reporters the day after her elimination aired.
Biggest Loser's Alexandra leaves the ranch but finds love with fellow contestant
Okay, I have to preface this recap with the fact that I've always loved Laguna Beach and The Hills but even I'm getting bored this season. Can we please move on from the never-ending love triangles/quadrangles, or whatever they are now?
This week is all about the K-Cav/Brody/Jayde saga. First, the newly shagtastic Brody (and by that I mean facial hair, people) and Kristin meet for lunch. They talk about some of the "crazy times" they had while dating, and Kristin mentions that Jayde had asked her to sit down and chat. Brody is not a fan of the idea, but Kristin claims Jayde just wants Brody to be happy so she has to respect his ex for wanting to set things straight.
It's makeover week on The Biggest Loser and once again Tim Gunn, as well as Tabitha Coffey, were on hand to help. So who made it one step further to the finale? Keep reading to find out.
Each contestant had their own private wardrobe consultation with Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn. Once they choose their outfits, it's time to head to the salon for more of their transformation. Rebecca is nervous that with her round face she shouldn't chop off her hair, but Tabitha insists she has a round face no more. Rudy is also nervous about the scissors — he's adamant about keeping his facial hair.
This week's episode was quite the downer. Millicent's cocaine habit kicked in, Nathan and Clay both lost their jobs and Brooke gave Julian some devastating news.
The Bobcats have signed a new point guard, leaving Nathan without a contract and a team. Saying he's pissed at Clay is an understatement. As Nate confronts his agent, who hasn't even heard the signing news yet, Quinn walks in the room, which only makes things worse. Nathan had made it clear that Clay should stay away from Haley's sister; the fact that he couldn't do the two things Nathan asked of him leads him to give him the axe.
Kristin and Brody
With Jayde out of the picture, Kristin is moving in on her former beau Brody. The two go to dinner and Kristin coyly asks Brody what he "can and can't do" on his break with Jayde. The date must have gone well because soon Brody is taking Kristin by his mom's house where the two ladies gush over how things used to be, and how cute K. and B. are together.
The time has come for Justin Bobby to get the old heave-ho — especially now that Kristin and Brody are becoming more cozy. The two go for a little catch-up stroll on the beach and Brody says that he and his Playmate girlfriend Jayde are on a break because although he loves the girl, he doesn't want to fight anymore.
