Dino De Laurentiis
Italian film producer Dino De Laurentiis died in Los Angeles on Friday, The New York Times reports. He was 91.
"Cinema has lost one of its greats," Walter Veltroni, former mayor of Rome and the founder of the Rome Film Festival, said in a statement. "The name of Dino De Laurentiis is tied to the history of cinema."
The Simpsons has been renewed for a 23rd season, Fox announced Thursday.
"Like many 22-year-olds, The Simpsons is extremely happy remaining at home, on FOX, and hopes it doesn't have to go out into the real world for many years to come," executive producer Al Jean said in a statement.
Design Star judge Vern Yip and his partner are expecting their second child via surrogate, People reports.
"It's really exciting, we're thrilled," Yip told the magazine. "We're due the very first week of March."
