The Cast of Austin & Ally
The Disney Channel's newest live-action series Austin & Ally will debut on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 8/7c, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
The comedy follows the titular partnership of two wannabe musicians. Austin (newcomer Ross Lynch) is an extroverted singer, and Ally (Laura Marano) is a brilliant, but extremely shy songwriter. When Austin decides to "borrow" one of Ally's songs and record it, the video becomes an overnight Internet sensation and the two join forces. Raini Rodriguez and Calum Worthy also star as the pair's best friends Trish and Dez.
The return of dead vampires Anna and Vicki has turned the world on The Vampire Diaries upside down. Although both have shown very different motives, the consequences of their arrival have yet to be revealed. Both Malese Jow (Anna) and Kayla Ewell (Vicki) tell TVGuide.com that Thursday's episode "Ghost World" (8/7c, CW) will answer many lingering questions. Plus: The actresses share their thoughts on their arcs and why neither sees their character as evil.

During an interview on The Rachael Ray Show airing Wednesday, the pair revealed that of their three kids, their youngest son, Joaquin, is their favorite.
"You may say 'I love all my kids the same' but you know in the event of emergency, there's one kid you'd reach for first," Kelly said.
CSI showrunner Carol Mendelsohn has sold six new projects, Deadline reports. Mendelsohn, along with production company President Julie Weitz, is developing three cop dramas with CBS, a cop series with FX and two book adaptations with The CW.

Madonna's brother, Anthony Ciccone, says he's homeless and sleeping under a bridge in Traverse City, Mich.
"My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time," he tells the Michigan Messenger. "You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times — why my sister is a multibazillionarie, and I'm homeless on the street?"
