Last Thursday, bubbly 23-year-old Joe Barber II was the second houseguest sent packing, by a nearly unanimous (9 to 1) vote. The former receptionist, who's now looking for a job, pulls no punches about "stirring the pot" and seeking closure with his ex, Dustin.
TVGuide.com: Are you disappointed about going home?Joe Barber II: Extremely. I'm a gamer, and I didn't get an opportunity. I had a feeling I'd either go out in the first week or I'd win the whole thing; Carol [who was evicted last week] was kind of a freebie — everyone wanted her gone because she wanted herself gone — so this was like the "first" week. People figured out that I was going to be a contender, and that's why I was targeted. I think it's a crock when people send strong players such as myself home early
On the first eviction episode of CBS' Big Brother 8, 21-year-old University of Kansas senior Carol Journey was sent packing by a whopping 10-to-1 vote. The following morning, the business marketing major (whose father is a Republican in the Kansas state senate) gave TVGuide.com the inside scoop on which houseguest was two-faced, who revealed more than their personality, and what she really thinks of her "nemesis."
TVGuide.com: You seemed to know that you'd be evicted.Carol Journey: I made it very clear that I wanted to go home, that it wasn't necessarily my cup of tea. I'm excited to go home. I'm... pretty thrilled, actually.
TVGuide.com: When you heard that some houseguests would be living with people from their past, were you shocked to see Jessica walking down those stairs?
