Lost Bosses Say They're Shocked By Latest Emmy Nod


Lost's executive producers say the ABC drama collected its latest Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series in spite of — as well as because of — this past season's hyper-serialized, time-skipping narrative.

"We are very happy, and we are kind of shocked," Carlton Cuse told "Doing the time travel-heavy genre, we did not have any expectations that we would get nominated."

Mercy Date: NBC Books Fast-Tracked Drama for Wednesdays


NBC has announced a Sept. 23 premiere for Mercy, the new medical drama that had its debut suddenly moved from midseason to fall.

The series will airs Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET, where its competition is ABC's Hank and The Middle, CBS' Old Christine and Gary Unmarried, Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, and the CW's Top Model.
