Watch What Happens: Live: The Little Late-Night Show That Could

Watch What Happens: Live

Instead of a monologue, there's a Mazel (and Jackhole) of the Week. Instead of coffee or water, the guests get cocktails from the on-set bar. And rather than musical performances from chart-toppers and Grammy winners, the tunes come courtesy of acts such as Real Housewives stars Kim Zolciak and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps.

Yes, Bravo's Watch What Happens: Live is far from your typical late-night show.

"We're Wayne's World meets Playboy After Dark," Andy Cohen, series host and Bravo senior vice president of production and programming, tells TVGuide.com.

Survivor’s Benry on His Big Blindside: I Thought I Had Chase in My Back Pocket

Survivor

With dominant, reality TV-friendly personalities NaOnka Mixon, Holly Hoffman and Jane Bright — oh, and the (faux?) cluelessness of Fabio Birza — on the screen, Ben "Benry" Henry flew under the radar for the first half of Survivor: Nicaragua. But as soon as his impressive physical skills in challenges became a threat to the equally strong Chase Rice, Benry was blindsided by Chase and his alliance faster than you can say "hidden immunity idol." The 24-year-old club promoter talked with TVGuide.com about how his competitive nature did him in, why he thought he had Chase in his "back pocket" — and last week's quitters... read more

Police Call Ronni Chasen Slaying a Robbery Gone Bad

Ronni Chasen

Publicist Ronni Chasen was slain by an ex-con who acted alone and shot her from a bicycle, police said, calling the killing "a robbery gone bad" — not a professional hit.

Police were able to link Chase's shooting to ex-convict Harold Smith after a ballistics report found that Smith's gun matched the firearm used on Chasen, Beverly Hills, Calif., police Chief David Snowden said at a news conference Wednesday.

Smith was a person of interest in the case. When police tried to serve a search warrant at his Hollywood hotel on Dec. 1, he shot... read more

First Look at Idol Auditions: Is Jennifer Lopez the Second Coming of Paula Abdul?

Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson

New American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez appears to be channeling Paula Abdul — at least  based on the first two Season 10 audition videos.

On a superficial level, comparisons are easy. Both come from dance backgrounds: Abdul was a Lakers cheerleader and choreographer for Janet Jackson, while Lopez got her break as a Fly Girl on In Living Color. Both are known for their catchy hooks rather than their octave range. They even share the... read more
