Rachel Nichols has yet to make her Criminal Minds debut, but apparently producers already like what they see.
The former Alias star has been promoted to series regular on the CBS procedural, Deadline reports. Nichols originally signed on for a three-episode arc and will...
With less than a month to go before the launch of her new cable network OWN, Oprah Winfrey is calling on the big guns to help spread the word. And by big guns, we mean music from Will.I.Am and lots and lots of balloons.
In an ad premiering in movie theaters across the country Friday, Winfrey steps in front of the camera to promote her latest venture. "What if I could take every hero who inspired me, every lesson that motivated me, every opportunity that was ever given to me, and give it to you?" she asks in the clip. "And now here we are. This is our...
NBC has reduced the order for freshman series Chase from 22 to 18 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Chase and cult favorite Chuck were originally picked up for a full season in October, the day after NBC renewed its other first-year series Law & Order: Los Angeles, Outsourced and The Event. Chase started off reasonably well, premiering to 7.3 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, but viewership has since...
Darren Criss and Chris Colfer
Since Finn Hudson first belted out the opening lines of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" in the pilot, Glee has reinvented countless tunes from musical eras past. From Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" to Broadway tunes of yesteryear like Cabaret's "Maybe This Time," New Directions has a knack for making the old new again.
So of course we were excited to hear that the series would be tackling an array of Christmas classics -- judging by this clip, Glee does not disappoint. In this video from Tuesday's episode, Kurt (Chris Colfer) duets with his new classmate Blaine (Darren Criss) on the 1944 staple "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Colfer handles those high notes with ease and the on-screen...

Born in 1929, Kaufman grew up in Queens and spent her early years hanging out backstage at theaters around the city. She opened Elaine's in 1963 with just $12,000 and the restaurant quickly became a go-to spot for writers in the area. Kaufman was known for...
Naonka Mixon, Kelly Shinn
Two weeks ago, the surprise ouster of Survivor: Nicaragua mastermind Brenda Lowe shifted the balance of power immensely. Oh, what a difference a storm makes. The damaged shelter combined with the nonstop rain proved to be the breaking point for both abrasive NaOnka Mixon and silent ally "Purple" Kelly Shinn, who both quit with only 11 days left in the competition. Although the two used opposite strategies to get far in the game, the two will now be known as those girls that quit the game (what would Jimmy Johnson have to say about this?). NaOnka, 27, and Kelly, 20, talked with TVGuide.com about how they told their families, the reaction from their fellow castaways and how they feel about their respective Survivor legacies...
It was the most shocking move on Survivor: Nicaragua yet. Following a devastating camp fire and days of torrential rain, two of the show's final nine castaways quit the game.
Both quitters, NaOnka Mixon and "Purple" Kelly Shinn, most likely had little shot of winning the million dollars. The former, after having battled a disabled contestant and thrown her closest friend under the bus to stay in the game, was the season's biggest villain. Purple Kelly, meanwhile, was too easy to manipulate to earn anyone's vote.
There's just one problem: These two women will still be allowed to...
Imagine Glee without attention hog Rachel Berry, outspoken Kurt or ditzy Brittany. Well, a new crop of McKinley High students may be infiltrating New Directions sooner than you'd think.
Less than halfway through its sophomore season, series co-creator Ryan Murphy is already looking to the future of the popular musical comedy. He says he plans to replace the current cast with new actors once their characters graduate at the end of 2012.
