T.R. Knight Returns to TV on SVU: I Embrace My Fears

TR Knight

T.R. Knight isn't afraid of anything. Just ask him.

"I think it's dangerous as an actor to get too comfortable, but maybe sometimes I go towards the discomfort a little too much," Knight tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. "There are a lot of things I maybe should have walked away from, but instead they kind of draw me in a little bit more because there's that terror to it."

Since leaving Grey's Anatomy in 2009, he's starred in his first musical (Parade) and performed David Mamet's A Life in the Theatre on Broadway. For his return to TV on Wednesday's Law & Order: SVU (10/9c on NBC), Knight is again embracing the unexpected to play a suspected rapist — a (seemingly) far cry from Grey's sweet, soft-spoken Dr. George O'Malley.

Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia, Monica Potter, Peter Krause

If you're still drying your eyes after last week's emotional goodbye between Kristina (Monica Potter) and Alex (Michael B. Jordan) on Parenthood, you're not alone. Just don't even think about putting the tissues away yet.

"I had no idea that this scene would move people. Michael and I just did it and it was like, 'OK, that was good.' But I came in last week and our crew members were talking about that scene," Potter tells TVGuide.com. "I thought, 'Wow that's pretty incredible that people are having this strong of a reaction. Which is great — it was very moving and touching to me.'" However, just as Kristina and the Bravermans say goodbye to one (almost) member of the family, they will welcome a new arrival with the birth of their baby in Tuesday's episode, titled "Nora," airing at 10/9c on NBC. Potter talked with TVGuide.com about Kristina's surprising delivery room partner, the art of pretending to give birth (hint: it involves grape jelly and cream cheese!) and the high emotions ahead for Kristina that come with this new bundle of joy... read more

Ben Stiller Brings Back Zoolander, Faces Off in V-Neck Battle on Saturday Night Live

Ben Stiller, Bill Hader

Ben Stiller hosted Saturday Night Live for the second time, but the return appearance of the writer-actor (and brief SNL featured player) was overshadowed by the return of one of his most famous characters — model Derek Zoolander.

In a perfect match, Zoolander appeared alongside "Weekend Update" correspondent Stefon (Bill Hader) to promote his upcoming Halloween party in the middle of the Hudson River. He was dumb as ever ("am I on the news?"), but instead of "blue steel," Zoolander showed up off his "cold coffee" look and instead of The Derek Zoolander Foundation For Kids Who Can't Read Good and Want To Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too, all proceeds from his Halloween party will benefit The Derek Zoolander Foundation for Fat Kids Who... read more
