"We thought, 'Let's bring a monster from our past.' At the end of Season 3, Brandon [Routh] was such a good 'muahaha' bad guy. I was like, I've got to bring back the 'muahaha.'"

In her final exhibition challenge, Iranian-American painter Kymia Nawabi created an installation that examined the concept of what comes after death through detailed drawings, amplified with textured paints and accompanying burial sculptures. She beat out performance artist Young Sun Han and figurative painter Sara Jimenez to win a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum in addition to the $100,000 cash prize. Not bad for a waitress with only $50 to her name.

There's much to like in the new trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, but just as much to baffle and intrigue as well. We'd expect nothing less from the director of Inception (and this of course explains the mini Inception cast reunion in this film).

The story takes place about eight years after the events in The Dark Knight, and Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) is returning to Gotham from who knows where. There are lots of Escher-esque stairs involved though.
