Ryan Seacrest, Mark Cuban
As if Ryan Seacrest weren't busy enough, he's starting up a new cable channel.
The American Idol host is partnering with Mark Cuban, entertainment company AEG and talent firm Creative Artists Agency to create AXS (short for "access"), a new pop culture channel expected to premiere in late spring, the Los Angeles Times reports.
As American Idol kicks off its 11th season with auditions Wednesday and Thursday at 8/7c on Fox, can it continue to reign over its rival singing competitions on TV (and all other shows, for that matter)?
Although Simon Cowell's The X Factor crowns its winner in the fall, NBC's The Voice will be nipping at Idol's heels when it premieres its second season on Feb. 5 after the Super Bowl. Charismatic banter among the coaches and those cool, swiveling chairs may bring in some viewers, but the Idol crew isn't sweating it, judging from a...
Wendy Wilson, Carnie Wilson, Chynna Phillips
The Wilson Phillips cameo at the end of producer Judd Apatow's comedy Bridesmaids was perfect timing for the band, who is now attempting a comeback with a new album and a reality show for TV Guide Network, Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On, which premieres on Sunday, April 8 at 9/8c.
"We got a random phone call from Judd Apatow's people," bandmate Chynna Phillips told reporters at the network's winter previews on Saturday. "We just thought it was a real honor, and we love Judd Apatow's movies and thought he was hysterical, so we wanted to be a part of it. But we had absolutely no idea the impact our one baby cameo was going to have in this film. We were pretty taken aback and excited that it gave our careers the boost, the shot in the arm that we needed."

"It's probably the saddest thing I ever had to be part of," McIntyre told critics Friday at the network's winter previews...
Nikita, Maggie Q
Maggie Q once teased that Dillon Casey's Sean Pierce would be stripping down for Nikita, and on Friday's episode (8/7c, The CW), that promise will be fulfilled.
But executive producer Craig Silverstein says there's a reason for Sean to get naked, besides simply pleasing the fans, of course...
Pregnant Leah Messer may have two new playmates for her twin girls, Alianna and Aleeah.
The Teen Mom 2 star is reportedly pregnant with twins, according to In Touch Weekly. The father is Messer's new guy and fiance Jeremy Calvert.
Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman
It's officially official: Viewers will find out who killed poor Rosie Larsen at the end of The Killing's second season, according to Written By magazine.
This is slightly more specific than what the series' executive producer Veena Sud has said before, that the killer would be revealed during the course of Season 2, which would also introduce a new murder case.
Bryan Ferry and Amanda Sheppard
