Expect a healthy dose of Demon Dean when Supernatural returns.
The CW drama, which comes back Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 9/8c, will pick up with Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) having become the thing he's always hated most: a demon. "We will stay with Demon Dean for more than one episode," series executive producer Jeremy Carver said at the Television Critics Association fall previews on Friday. "You'll see a different type of Demon Dean than you might expect."

On NBC's upcoming comedy Marry Me, Happy Endings star Casey Wilson will trade in single girl Penny for Annie, a woman who's been in a steady six-year relationship with Jake (Ken Marino). "Annie is slightly less desperate than Penny," Wilson said at the Television Critics Association fall previews on Sunday. "I'll try to do subtle difference between the characters. Annie doesn't always act like Penny."
NBC has busted out its weapon of choice.
The network announced that it has cast Oscar winner Christopher Walken as Captain Hook in its live musical production of Peter Pan, which will air Dec. 4. "Funny, right?" NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt said at the Television Critics Association fall previews on Sunday. "He's one of the most unique actors... but he's just really a song and dance man at heart... It'll be the first tap-dancing Captain Hook you've ever seen."
