Lady Gaga
After months of hype, Lady Gaga's long-awaited single "Born This Way" was released Friday morning.
The song, which sounds vaguely similar to Madonna's "Express Yourself," was previously described by Elton John as the "new gay anthem."

Lyrics, which focus on race and sexuality, include "Don't be a drag/just be a queen" and "A different lover is not a sin/Believe capital H-I-M."
Gaga will perform the song at Sunday's Grammy Awards, where she's nominated in six categories. Her new album, also titled Born This Way, drops May 23.

Danielle Staub
