Joy Behar
The View is sending of original co-host Joy Behar in style.
At a taping of Behar's final special tribute show, to air Friday, Aug. 9 on ABC, the 70-year-old comedienne was surprised by a slew of famous friends — including Regis Philbin, Joan Rivers and former View-er Meredith Vieira —to reminisce about her 16-year run. Emceed by rumored replacement Mario Cantone, who would be the show's first full-time male panelist, the episode closes with a special performance by Tony Bennett.

Jennifer Lopez
Multi-hyphenate Jennifer Lopez has another job to add to her resume: Chief Creative Officer of NUVOtv. The first and only English-language network for Latinos officially launches Wednesday with Lopez's biography special, Jennifer Lopez: Her Life, Her Journey (July 18, 8/7c).
After the documentary comes A Step Away (9/8c), a docu-reality series that follows Lopez's professional dancers behind the scenes on her world tour, and the reality show House of Joy (10/9c), which goes inside the lives of Grammy-winning producer Rodney Jerkins and his wife, Joy Enriquez. Premiere week also features YouTube star Anjelah Johnson (Bon Qui Qui, Nail Salon) in a one-hour comedy special, Anjelah Johnson: The Homecoming Show (July 20, 9/8c) and Mario Lopez in Mario Lopez: One on One (July 20, 10:30/9:30c), a celebrity sit-down series that puts Gloria Estefan, Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez in the hot seat.

Disney XD's Summer Programming
Disney XD is giving kids tons of action-packed reasons to say indoors this summer with the network's most ambitious programming slate yet. The young, male-driven network will unveil a slew of series and specials this season including Marvel's Avengers Assemble, premiering Sunday July 7, and Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., premiering Sunday, Aug. 11. The network has also partnered with the X Games for four separate specials, airing nightly July 22-25. All of the "Non-Stop Summer" fun officially makes a splash on Monday, June 17. Now cameras follow Roble and his team — including a new assistant and pastry chef — as his New York-based business heats up. (Season 2 premieres Wednesday at 10/9c.)

James Lipton returned to the fourth season of Arrested Development, which rebooted on Netflix this past weekend, but this week (Wed. May 29, 7/6c, Bravo), he's celebrating another milestone. In 1994, Lipton created a Master's degree course at the Actors Studio and started televising his seminars with famous performers. Jennifer Lopez is returning to American Idol...at least for the May 16 season finale, where she will perform her new single, "Live it Up." "It's great to go back and see the old gang," she told TV Guide Magazine at the Nuvo TV upfront on May 15, where she was named the Chief Creative Officer for the Latino targeted, English-speaking network. "I do miss it. I had a great time doing Idol."
