Jay Leno
After hinting months ago that he would scale down his role with The Tonight Show, Kevin Eubanks announced on Monday's show that he would step down as Jay Leno's bandleader, a role he's played for 18 years.

The announcement may have been the reason Leno made no mention in his monologue of Monday's other late-night news:

Jules Kirby
One of the socialite stars of CW's High Society complained last week that she was the victim of unfair editing after the show's debut episode showed her saying she sometimes uses the N-word, only likes white guys, and tends not to have gay, fat, or Jewish friends.
Now you can decide if the show's producers treated her fairly: TVGuide.com has obtained exclusive interview footage for the show, in which Jules Kirby defends using the N-word ("if a guy can say 'whore,' then you should be able to say the N-word"), says fat people are "gross to me," and explains that when joking around, "I say some pretty terrible things about certain groups of people who aren't like myself."
"I'm not like exactly racist ...

High Society, Jules Kirby
One of the stars of CW's new reality series High Society says she's been unfairly edited to look like the villain, but Jules Kirby's statements on the show don't exactly help her case.
The socialite was quoted on Wednesday's debut episode as saying her "friends do tend not to be homosexuals, fat ...

Corey Haim and Corey Feldman
Corey Haim's tragic death exposed widespread confusion about him and his frequent collaborator Corey Feldman, as many confessed via Twitter that they don't know which Corey is which. The two shared much in common, besides the name Corey: early roles in Stephen King projects, joint film appearances, eventual struggles with drugs, and a dual comeback attempt on the A&E show The Two Coreys. For those of us who grew up with the Coreys, there's no getting them confused. But for anyone unfamiliar with their work, here is our quick guide to the Coreys' respective careers:

Sandra Bullock
One of the most predictable Academy Awards in years took a film-worthy twist as Kathryn Bigelow and The Hurt Locker beat out the closest thing the movies have to a Goliath — a film that just happened to be made by Bigelow's ex-husband. In doing so, Bigelow became the first woman ever to be named best director. But even some of the night's most foreseeable elements were pleasantly unsurprising: hosts Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were as cutting as you would expect, and sometimes the overwhelming favorites are the overwhelming favorites for a reason. Welcome to our Top Moments: Oscars Edition.

Jay Leno
Jay Leno returned Monday night to The Tonight Show with only the slightest of nods to the late-night shakeup that ended his primetime run and led to the departure of his successor — and now predecessor — Conan O'Brien.
Leno books Adam Lambert and others for Tonight Show return
"It's good to be home," Leno said of the show business institution he hosted for 17 years. "I'm Jay Leno, your host — at least for a little while."
With that, Leno went into his familiar monologue about the day's news. But this one was...

Conan O'Brien
Conan O'Brien ended his brief run as host of The Tonight Show with thanks to his fans and even the network that is replacing him a mere seven months into his dream job.
"Yes, we have our differences right now and yes, we're going to go our separate ways," O'Brien said of NBC, his employer of 17 years. "But this company has been my home for most of my adult life. I am enormously proud of the work we have done together, and I want to thank NBC for making it all possible."
Conan's last words as Tonight Show host
O'Brien, who had announced just 10 days earlier that he would rather leave The Tonight Show than accept a move to after midnight to accommodate Jay Leno's return to the 11:35 slot, said...
