MTV has passed on a reality show following the work life of Lauren Conrad, Entertainment Weekly reports.
"She did do a pilot. There were talks about whether we could somehow manage to put together a special based on that footage but that's also a big question mark based on her interest in that and the finances," MTV exec David Janollari told the magazine. "We love her! We would love her on our network! It was a great attempt but it just didn't feel like a perfect fit for us now."

Conrad slammed the network Friday for passing on the pilot, which centered on the starlet's flourishing fashion line.

This week's Top Chef paid homage to Goodfellas with an Italian-themed challenge and the film's Oscar-nominated actress Lorraine Bracco serving as guest judge. The cheftestants were split in three teams and tasked with making a dish for the one of New York's quintessential Italian-American restaurants, Rao's. But the group charged with the secondi (better known as the pasta course) failed to deliver on arguably the most important dish of an Italian meal. Unfortunately for Tre Wilcox, his overly thick risotto was the worst offense.

It may seem like Internet has been around forever, but this video from 1994 really demonstrates how far technology has come. In the clip, former Today show co-anchors Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric and correspondent Elizabeth Vargas try to figure out what the "@" symbol means, as well as try to define what this new crazy computer network called the "internet" really is. "What do you write to it, like, mail?" Gumbel questions. Um, something like that.
