Dancing with the Stars, Derek Hough, Brooke Burke
"Thanksgiving is going to be just a lot of relaxing and quality family time," Brooke Burke said just moments after being named this season's Dancing with the Stars celebrity champ. "My family gave up a lot for me to do this. They gave up so much mommy time." Burke's pro partner, Derek Hough, similarly was happy to be a winner, yet just as thankful to get a deserved (if brief) time-out. "Dude, Thanksgiving is going to be rest," he declared. "Epson salt bath ... maybe a massage. I have to start rehearsing for the tour on Friday."
Comedian Jeffrey Ross, who as part of Tuesday night's results show pointedly "roasted" his former cast mates, pondered what Burke and Hough could have done better. "Maybe if they had ...

Julianne Hough and Cody Linley, Dancing with the Stars
She may act like Wonder Woman — returning to the dance floor only two weeks after abdominal surgery to remove her appendix and scar tissue from endometriosis — but it turns out Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough is flesh and blood after all: She had a small scare on Monday night, dancing her last two competitive dances (the paso doble and the salsa) with Hannah Montana star Cody Linley. Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer, Dancing with the Stars
Sure, he kept a big smile on his face and got a near-perfect score. But when Lance Bass accidentally kicked off his left shoe doing a high-stepping jitterbug on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars, he panicked. "The only thing I could think of was to fast-forward in my head to all the moves I had to do — and that I had to land on my left foot," says Bass. "I was thinking, 'Do I have to change something so I don't slip and make Lacey [Schwimmer, his pro partner] fall?' Because we had a lot of lifts and this is, like, the worst dance to do with a shoe off." Did his (shoeless) softshoe impress the judges? Read on to find out...

Susan Lucci and Tony Dovolani, Dancing with the Stars
Susan Lucci swears she didn't mind flying back and forth from New York to Los Angeles every week to compete on Dancing with the Stars. It was a grueling schedule that lasted seven long weeks — and often made her cry. "The airplanes were not the problem," she said on Wednesday night, moments after getting her walking papers. "We could lie down on the plane and sleep."
The real fly in the ointment, she says, was her day job. If Lucci could have changed anything about her Dancing experience, "I probably would have asked for a leave of absence ...

Tom Bergeron, Samantha Harris, Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas, Dancing with the Stars
It was another astonishing Cloris Leachman moment. When the cameras stopped rolling on Tuesday night, pro Derek Hough pulled Leachman into his arms and took her for a breathtaking spin around the floor. "Wasn't that brilliant?" Michael "Lord Of The Dance" Flatley asked after the show. "He ran right out, the first one, gave her a kiss and took her for a spin. World-class. Hats off to Derek."
The orchestra kept playing and the crowd gasped as they picked up speed — perhaps wondering why Cloris ...
