Roush on Life on Mars
Question: Have you heard anything since the strike ended about the U.S. version of
Life on Mars? Are we likely to ever see it? Do you think the failure of
Journeyman (which I don't think is all that similar, but with which I've often seen the original
Life on Mars compared to) will affect its chances to actually make it on to the air? (I'm somewhat dubious about the remake, since those almost never seem to go well, but the wonderful casting of Colm Meaney as Gene Hunt aroused my curiosity.)

Matt Roush: As far as I know, it's still actively being considered for ABC's lineup next season. I'm curious to see it myself, and can't imagine that the fate of Journeyman (which despite the time-warp factor is very different in approach and tone) will have any bearing on its chances.
