Oprah Winfrey is heading back to TV.

Winfrey has signed on for a recurring role on the upcoming drama Greenleaf, which will air on her network OWN, TheWrap reports.

The series is about a megachurch in Memphis run by the charismatic and manipulative Bishop James Greenleaf (Keith David). Winfrey will play Mavis McCready, the sister of his wife Lady Mae Greenleaf (Lynn Whitfield).

Winfrey is also acting as an executive producer on the show, along with Craig Wright and Clement Virgo.

Greenleaf is expected to premiere on OWN next year. Will you watch?
