Paula Abdul's "Music" Is Back on the Charts

Paula Adbul

Twenty years after scoring her second No. 1 single with "Forever Your Girl," Paula Abdul has found herself back on the Billboard chart with "I'm Just Here for the Music." The dance track entered at No. 87 this week.

The debut marks the second consecutive year the American Idol judge has landed a song on the charts after a 13-year drought. Her Randy Jackson-produced tune "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" opened at No. 80 last year.

Abdul, who performed "Music" on last week's Idol results show (with two microphones), now has 15 Hot 100 singles to her name. Idol alum Chris Daughtry and his band also performed on the show, debuting their new single, "No Surprise," which bowed at No. 15 on Billboard.
