The Latest Buzz: Michael to Rock Idol Finale

So who is "the biggest star in the world right now"? Earlier this week, American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe teased a truly stellar surprise performer at Wednesday night's results show. And to those of you who guessed it would be Michael Jackson... well, you're at least half right. TV Guide hears that George Michael, a chum of both Lythgoe and Simon Cowell, will be on hand for the Season 7 wrap-up, in part to promote his new greatest hits album.

Is the former Wham! front man the first name that comes to mind when you hear "biggest star in the world"? (Eli Stone, you're not allowed a vote.)
