Battlestar Galactica: Razor (Unrated Extended Edition)

The TV movie Razor, which aired last month, gave Battlestar Galactica fans a much-needed fix of the show, which won't be returning for its fourth and final season till April. A prequel depicting the first days of Lee "Apollo" Adama's (Jamie Bamber) command of the starship Pegasus, Razor tells the story of Kendra Shaw (Stephanie Jacobsen) and her former commander, the controversial Admiral Cain (Michelle Forbes). This unrated version runs about 16 minutes longer than the broadcast, with extended scenes. Extras include commentaries and a sneak peek of Season 4. Also out today is the HD-DVD set of Battlestar Galactica's first season, featuring an encyclopedia of ships, characters, and more; behind-the-scenes footage; and deleted scenes.

24: Season Six

Having survived 20 months in captivity, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) gets home to yet another crisis that only he can solve. This time he must track down and diffuse several nuclear bombs that have made their way into the country. James Cromwell was just one of the new additions to the cast as Jack's dad; Ally McBeal nice guy Peter MacNicol and Rick "Don't Call Me Ricky" Schroder also joined up in Season 6. The 24 hour-long episodes appear on seven discs. Extras include a preview of Season 7, more than 25 minutes of deleted scenes, commentaries, and an alternate ending to the season finale.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: The Fourth Year

Remember back when Law & Order: SVU focused primarily on the cases, and not so much on the love lives and personal dramas of its lead characters? In Season 4, Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni), along with their fellow detectives Munch (Richard Belzer) and Fin (Ice-T), investigated cases of sexual violence and child abuse with the help of guest stars like Pam Grier, Barbara Barrie and Judith Light. B.D. Wong was also made a series regular during this season. The 25 episodes appear on five discs.

Will & Grace: Season Seven

The groundbreaking series about gay and straight friends living in harmony (mostly) had plenty of high points — and a few lows — during this season. There was the breakdown of Grace's (Debra Messing) marriage to Leo (Harry Connick Jr.); Jack's (Sean Hayes) brief stint as a backup dancer for JLo; and Karen's (Megan Mullally) rivalry with old adversary Scott (Jeff Goldblum). The season's 23 episodes appear on four discs. Extras consist of "themed featurettes" covering such topics as money, clothing, dancing, gayness, and melodrama, and a gag reel.

The Wire: The Complete Fourth Season

This unusual cop show follows the lives of four boys in Baltimore through the lens of the education system, while detectives McNulty (Dominic West), Prez (Jim True-Frost) and Bunk (Wendell Pierce) try to discover the true source of power behind a new drug king. Created by David Simon, who wrote the book that inspired another critically acclaimed, unconventional crime show, Homicide: Life on the Street, The Wire is one of the best shows most people don't know about. Season 4's 13 episodes appear on four discs, just in time for the show's final season, which debuts in January. Extras include a behind-the-scenes documentary and audio commentaries from the cast and crew.
